Fantastic little DC load tester - works as advertised!
I'd never used one of these devices before but I was working on a project that involves sending DC power over coax cabling and needed something to act as an adjustable load for my testing. This unit did exactly what I needed it to. The menus were fairly easy to figure out, and I liked that it gives you the flexibility to program a constant (or timed) voltage load, amperage load, or power (wattage) load. The screen is nice and bright and easy to read and the fan for dissipating heat during testing is reasonably quiet. I'm going to create a 3D printed enclosure for the circuit board since I'm not a fan of it being exposed but otherwise I have no reservations about recommending this model to anyone shopping around for a new DC load tester.

Great tool (using without Bluetooth app)
I really like these load testers- very helpful in assessing batteries ACTUAL performance. There is an accessory that I’ve seen in use but cannot locate for sale that is a daughter board kind of arrangement that has common smaller battery sockets (AA, 18650, etc.) that would round this out perfectly. In any case, highly recommended.

Worked great for 2 tests, then completely died.
It worked fine in my initial two battery tests. Then, it completely died. Screen won't come on, nothing.

Almost unintelligible directions but it does the job.
I bought this unit to test the heavy duty batteries on my power tools. Despite the instructions being almost useless, with a bit of sleuthing on the internet, you can figure it out. It allowed me to (for example) set a 2Ah continuous load for testing my 56V EGO mower batteries to determine how rapidly they decay and then compare that output to OEM batteries. It was very instructive, helped me identify those "generic" batteries being sold at "bargain" prices that greatly underperformed their advertised capacity ratings. It's worth the purchase but if you aren't electrically handy, may be a challenge.

Solid unit, app needs work.
So I have been using this for a while now and it does its job very well. It is also useful to purposely discharge malfunctioning batteries before dropping off for recycling. My only complaint is about the app. The scale of the graph is not adjustable. So if you are using this for low voltage loads, say 5v the graph on the app is useless. It would be nice to be able to select the scale or zoom in the graph to lower voltage and or power settings.

A great capacity tester with all the right features
After performing battery testing with some less expensive versions I opted for this one. It's not that the cheaper ones did not work. When used in conjunction with a "power meter" that could save the results they worked just fine within their power capability. But this one has all the features that one needs to perform to perform any battery capacity discharge test. No power meter required. Just set the parameters you want, hook it up, come back later and check the results. It has 4 buttons to navigate the menus. You may have to play with them a little to learn to navigate the menus but it is not that difficult. Pros : 1) The external power means you can set all your test parameters before starting the test. This can prevent you from accidentally making a connection with the amps set too high. I've done it, it's not fun. 2) A bright color display that is easy to read. 3) Readings are save until you delete them. You can interrupt the test, come back later and continue. 4) You can set voltage cut off level. 5) Set the duration time if you need to. 6) The connector inputs are thru a multi connector board which is removable. When removed the terminal block will accept all the other various cable connections. 7) Comes with a thermal sensor. 8) Comes with a variety of cables Cons : 1) It can take some time to learn to navigate the menus but with 4 buttons it is easier than having to press 1 or 2 buttons multiple times. 2) The app is terrible if you can even get it to work. Other than that I'm very happy with this product. I've only had it a short time so time will tell about it's durability. But for now, highly recommended.
