How long do these stay fresh for once opened? My kitten only has 2 bowls a day and rarely eats it all. I'm looking at getting the 4kg if it'll last?

My kitten was exactly the same and this food sorted it completely! It does go up to twelve months but if you get the cat steriled they don't need the same intensity in fat and protein the kitten food has, but royal canin as do others offer sterilized cat food too! Has the kitty been to the vets, maybe worth a check!

Hi what is the expiry date on the 10kg Royal canin kitten dry food?

I no longer have the packaging now for the kitten food, but as mine are now adults (just), I bought an adult one recently and that has an expiry of Oct 2017

Does this come with a scoop (or similar)?

There is no scoop or anything else. We weighed a small container, without biscuits first, then added them, to find the right size and level. We use these small basins all the time now and found some dishwasher safe ones

Is this food human grade?

Not that I am aware of but Royal Canin is a highly recommended brand and is supported by vets. They even have their own vet specialty brands which my cat has now. There was nothing wrong with this food, but she had a really funny tummy when she was really little and the vet royal canine stuff worked. Check out the Royal Canin website or ask your vet. Maybe they know if it's human grade or not.
