Bosch PSA 18 LI Cordless Lithium-Ion Multi-Saw

This is a sturdy and powerful tool which is also well balanced and a pleasure to use, the more so being cordless. I have other Bosch tools in the "power 4 all" collection so I was able to buy this as a naked tool.The saw made short and easy work of cutting down an old stagshorn in my garden which would have been a long and hard task with a handsaw. One slight problem is that the blade became detached from the saw a couple of times whilst in use though it had seemed firm enough when fitted. However, thanks to the tool's design, it is quick and easy to re-fit the blade should this happen.This saw will save me a lot of arm ache in the garden and I wish I'd bought one a long time ago. It will also have other uses around the home though probably not for woodwork where accuracy is needed.I am very pleased with this new acquistion to my set of Bosch cordless tools.

I bought this to help me 'lay' a hedge. the plants had previously been cut to 18 inches which had then sprouted producing a thicket of shoots up to 2 inches in diameter. A bow saw, chain saw or even a manual punning saw would have been too large to accurately and with control cut each stem. 80% through, to enable bending. Very pleased with the result. It does vibrate and the weight is at the blade end making single handed use difficult as the stem would also need to be held during the cut. The trigger and safety switch are quite awkward and I needed to use both hands for starting the cut. I also used this saw for cutting ivy stems from Hawthorne trunks. Some of these were 2.5 inches thick but cupping the Hawthorne's trunk and in constricted spaces. This was very effective and and efficient.

I thought long and hard about ordering this after reading mixed reviews. I'd already used the mains powered version and was very tempted to order that after being very impressed. However, a lot of my intended use is a long way from a mains socket so it was either extension reels or this. I already own the Bosch cordless drill which uses the same batteries so thought I'd give it a go. I'm not sure what the negative reviews expect but for me this is an awesome piece of kit. Yes the battery life is relatively short, but I own two batteries and just how long does anyone spend sawing continously anyway? I find it very powerful and it hasn't baulked at any task I've thrown at it so far, from sawing pallets up to lopping tree branches off. Love the portability too - it's means I can go to work at the top of my garden, well away from a socket and still get the job done. Highly recommended.

Greta little sippy saw, bosch blade last a good time, nice grips on this. Can cut through quite thick branches and lumps of wood. This comes without a battery but my bosch drill came with two batteries so I just swap them in.

I really liked this saw until one day while going through a pallet it stopped working. I took it to a local Bosch repair centre and they told me that Bosch does not supply parts to fix these tools, which means that the saw goes straight to the bin. This after 3 years of light occasional use. Very angry at a company like Bosch. I might as well buy a cheap unbranded item.

It's a good saw. Been using it to cut down privet hedge (that has become thick trees) and tree branches upto about 100mm thick max. It's true that the batteries don't last as long, and there are, in many ways, better saws out there for the money. I actaully bought this and the Makita 18V saw as I have both a number of bosh power-4-all tools and Makita 18v tools and batteries, so could have gone either way with choosing this or the Makita. The Makita was clearly superior saw (and not much more money as I already had batteries for both) - bigger cut depth, built like a tank - but, and this was a big but, the Makita weighed as much as a tank too, and I'm not a small guy, but I couldn't hold the Makita in one hand and chop branches while holding the branch with other hand - or not for more than a few branches. The bosh is nice and light weight, so I can easily use it like its an electric 'hand' saw - holding branch with one hand while operating the saw with the other (probably not intended, but works well!). So I sadly returned the Makita. Seriously, with the 3AHh batter on it, I couldn't even hold the makita out straight with one hand! I guess the Makita is really a two-hand saw - as is probably the intent with this. Incidentally, I also have an amazing 18V makita pro-range Drill, with metal chuck, 3 gears etc - it's built like a tank and weighs as much as one. The little 18v bosch drill is soooo light by comparison! so I use the bosch drill most of the time (except for big drilling jobs like big holes in steel or masonary/concrete). So these green bosch tools are nice and light, but will probably not last as long as Makita - but using the lightweight tools means my personal energy lasts longer! If you use it a lot, you'll probably wear this out a lot quicker than a Makita, but on the other hand, the Makita might might wear YOU out.In terms of battery life, cutting down branches to completely fill two large wheely bins (after being chipped up in a bosch wood chipper, so the wheely bins were like solid block of wood when filled!), took less than two full 1.5AH batteries. Approx 1 battery to cut the trees down, and another 0.75 to cut the logs up. In practice, that was about 1 battery per hour of work. I think the fast charger takes a bit more than one hour, so you might be a bit 'stumped' if you only have 2 batteries and 1 charger if you want to work continuously with the saw.

I have lots of wood left over from a house renovation that I wanted to process to use in a log burner so thought this might do the trick. It is easier that a regular saw but the amount of vibration coming though it when in use is a little alarming. Probably best used for the occasion bit of garden pruning rather than heavy duty work. Battery life is OK. I have a couple of batteries for this and have to swap them every half an hour.

This works as designed, and can breeze through e.g. tree branches, the odd rough bit of wood, or tricky to get at joinery. It is rather twitchy so don't expect a cut as clean as a circular or band saw, but this certainly has its uses. The battery will last you long enough until the next tea break and charges in what feels like an hour. Pretty good.

j avais un taille haie Bosch, avec la batterie rechargeable compatible avec la scie sabre, le tout fonctionne a merveille avec une autonomie vraiment acceptable de 30 a 45 mn environ , j ai pu tailler une haie de troène de 20 mètres, assez dangereux pour les végétaux quand c'est ma femme qui l'as dans les mains, elle tailles ,retaille et taille encore,, est c est moi qui fais les voyages à la déchetterie !!j ai racheté un batterie et son chargeur moitié prix que la batterie seul !! je recommande ce produit, j ai acheté d autre lame et le plexi de 1 cm d épaisseur ne lui fait pas peur ! bon produit

Riporto in basso tutto ciò che ho scritto per la sega a gattuccio a corrente. Aggiungo soltanto alcuni aspetti, positivi e negativi, che secondo me vale la pena sottolineare, per il resto confermo tutto, in quanto tra la versione a batteria e quella a corrente (PSA 700) non vi sono differenze di uso e potenza riscontrata nel taglio...Partiamo dai lati negativi.- la batteria o meglio, l'utensile non ha l'indicatore di batteria residua. Nel senso che taglia fino a che non arriva alla fine della carica e voi non saprete mai se questo avverrà entro un minuto o un'ora. Secondo me alla bosch hanno perso l'occasione di fare le cose per bene, e dire che la stessa tecnologia già la usano per gli indicatori sui trapani/avvitatori a batteria... quindi una grave mancanza sopperita soltanto dal fatto che avendo già un trapano avvitatore che utilizza le stesse batterie, ora ne ho tre, quindi sono relativamente tranquillo nell'utilizzo. Ma sottolineo... due led costano 30 centesimi... su un prodotto da 90,00 € io li pretendo!!!lati positivi- fate tutto quello che fate anche con la versione a corrente, ma con la comodità delle batterie... utile quindi per giardinaggio, cantieri etc.- funziona con le batterie della serie 18v Power4All.considerazioni- ho preso la versione senza batterie convinto del fatto che potessi usare in tranquillità quelle del mio trapano/avvitatore, ma essendo da 1,5 Ah, durano poco. Anche perché le stesse batterie usate sul trapano durano il giusto, su una sega che lavora ininterrottamente 1,5 Ah sono risultati pochi.Ho risolto i problemi di durata con l'acquisto della batteria da 2,5 Ah. Dura di più (ovviamente) ma ha bisogno di un suo caricabatterie apposito.Quindi ora mi ritrovo con due caricabatterie e batterie con due livelli di potenze... 1,5 e 2,5 Ah...Una cosa positiva e negativa allo stesso tempo.Negativa perché ora sul banco ho due caricabatterie... positiva perché ora posso caricare due batterie contemporaneamente...______________________________________________________________________________________Allego la recensione dell'utensile a filo... vale tutto quello che ho scritto anche per questo a batteria!Non si è mai al completo con il reparto utensileria nel proprio garage. Questa sega (dotata delle giuste lame) è in grado di tagliare qualsiasi cosa con facilità.La lama in dotazione è una (nel mio pacco) ed è solo per il legno. Per carità, tutte ottime lame, ma hanno un grande difetto... sono lunghe 15 cm.E' un grande difetto se decidete di acquistare questa sega per smantellare pedane e bancali di legno ad esempio (comunemente noti anche come pallet). Lame così corte, soprattutto con bancali di legno EPAL (quelle europee), non arrivano a tagliare tutti i chiodi che sono posizionati negli zoccoli, e questo comporta che prima o poi la lama, mentre la sega è in funzione, sbatterà contro quel chiodo lontano (ma non troppo) così da rischiare di spezzarvi la punta e darvi un contraccolpo alla sega... rischiando di farvi anche male.Il problema lo si risolve con queste lame https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B0053PW8L6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 lunghe 30cm che potrete usare per smantellare bancali, tagliare alberi, rami, saracinesche in ferro e qualsiasi altra cosa vi passi per la testa... potreste segare un'automobile in due se solo voleste farlo.Con le lame per ferro e legno da 30cm, diventa l'utensile definitivo per il lavoro duro. Ci ho tagliato paletti 9x20 cm in meno di un minuto. FAVOLOSO.Ci sono anche dei lati negativi... e qui il motivo della stella in meno.1) Il sistema di sgancio lame è piccolo e troppo vicino alla lama. Una leva di sgancio rapido sarebbe stata gradita.2) Il prezzo è più alto della concorrenza... forse non ricomprerei bosch ma mi orienterei su altre marche. Ma sottolineo il forse...3) E' pesante e grande, ma fa il suo dovere e con un po' di inventiva potrete usare questi punti "sfavorevoli" in punti di forza.Quando segavo il paletto che vi dicevo poco prima, ho sfruttato il peso dell'utensile per farlo lavorare al meglio... paletto sul banco da lavoro, posiziono la lama sul segno, avvio la sega e lascio che sia il peso dell'utensile a determinare la pressione sul taglio... tagliava da solo, io dovevo solo tenere premuto il pulsante... ulteriori pressioni erano inutili.Per me sostituisce una motosega... e in più non fa fumo, non ha bisogno di benzina etc... mica male.Insomma come tutti gli utensili vi semplificherà la vita. Lo consiglio

Ich bin ein Fan des Bosch Akku System und wenn ich rasch mal was im Garten arbeiten will entfällt damit das lästige auf und abrollen der Kabel. Die Säge ist sehr leistungsstark und mit einem Astsägeblatt schneide ich eigentlich den Großteil aller Äste im Garten. Nur für die sehr kleine Teile (Aststärke bis 2 cm) verwende ich eine Astschere und wenn ich eine Baumfälle für den Stamm (größer 15 cm - 20 cm) verwenden ich die Kettensäge. Wenn ich größere Äste abgesägt habe, lassen ich damit auch die langen Äste gut zerkleinern. Die Säge ist sehr klein und lässt sich auch einhändig gut verwenden. Lebensdauer eines Akkus hat für einen Apfelbaum und einen Zwetschkenbaum (in Kombi mit Astschere und Kettensäge) ausgereicht.

Muy bien, lastima que lleve solo una batería, tienes que tener la precaución de ir cargando cuando no la usas.

veramente ottimo prodotto: utilizzato per la potatura degli ulivi.la batteria dura diverse ore di taglio e si ricarica relativamente velocemente.leggero, ergonomico, solido e comodo da usare.se poi si ha un'altra batteria Bosh universale (ad esempio per un avvitatore o simili) si può lavorare alternandole senza interruzioni per tutta la giornata.la lama in dotazione è sufficientemente lunga (mentre quelle di riserva del set "Bosch Set 5 Lame Varie Applicazioni per KEO" sono più corte) e taglia bene il legno, anche se con qualche difficoltà nei legni molto duri.il meccanismo di innesto della lama però non è esattamente intuitivo e consiglio di provare la sega a vuoto per vedere se si è serrato tutto correttamente o se la lama esce via, per evitare possibili incidenti pericolosi.potare con ques'attrezzo è un piacere
