Very good
Very good smart band Connects easy to the app and downloads all the info Easy to charge with the lead which works by magnet connection on back of band Holds battery life for about 8-9 days with average use. Various different functions which you can set to your own taste choice of various faces some built into the band but also a large collection through the app Keeps accuracy well Well worth the money

The best budget fitness tracker
The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 is a great activity tracker that offers a lot of features at an affordable price. Here are some of the pros and cons based on customer reviews: Pros: - Vibrant and colorful clock face that can be changed - Tracks steps and workout levels well - Affordable price - Remarkable smartwatch that combines affordability - AMOLED screen offers stunning visuals that are easy to read Cons: - The band could be more resistant Overall, the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 seems to be a great choice for anyone looking for an affordable and reliable activity tracker.

Good but......
OK, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 has some great advantages over the older Band 5. Always on, larger screen, brighter. Nice. But..... Always on and brighter comes at a steep battery price, my old Band 5 would last 14 days between charge, I get on average 5 days from the Band 7, even less if I ride the motorbike on bumpy or country roads. It's as though the band thinks I need to see the screen at every twist or bump.. I have always on turned off, and screen at around 75% brightness. Charge the band 7 and if you have set the user pin up, you need to enter it to unlock it. And if you take it off and put it down, again the pin. Makes it harder for a thief to get any use out of it, but can get annoying. I've dropped the overall score mainly due to the shorter battery life

Brilliant entry level activity tracker
I've had this smart band for a few months now and bought it to start tracking my gym sessions, throughout this time I've had a mostly good experience but wanted to cover pro's and con's Pros: - Affordable, much better than everything else in it's price range, especially no name generic options. - Accurate tracking of heart rate - Compatible with Zepp life app which can feed through into the google fit application - Even with constant heart rate monitoring and sleep analysis turned on, always on display on and phone notifications enabled I get 3 - 4 days of battery life - Able to set up quick replies from the band - Has music controls - Many watch faces available and third party apps available for even more face options - Sharp and crisp amoled display - Charges very quickly Cons: - Strap it comes with my default is uncomfortable, I bought an elastic one to replace it - Doesn't always wake up when you move your wrist to look at it (can be turned on manually by tapping the screen). - you have to move the band up your arm whilst working out for accurate HR tracking or else it can be very inconsistent, if its in the right place its very accurate (judging off what a machine like a treadmill says vs the band). - Charging cable is proprietary which is always a down side. - There are 2 apps that can be used which can cause some confusion, Zepp life and Mi Fitness. After testing I can confirm Zepp life is definitely the better option. Overall you get the same functionality as a fitbit without the price tag being so much higher. Would recommend!

Great activity watch!
Edit: the screen stopped working after 4 months. I mainly wanted this watch as a step counter, for phone notifications, a reminder to stand up every hour, and obviously to see the time. Overall, it's a great watch (or activity band), comfortable to wear, and functions quite well. Phone notifications always work. You can choose which apps it will use. Battery depends entirely on how you use it. With regular heart rate detection and the 'always on' option, battery life is awful, but if you turn down the heart rate measurements and keep 'always on' disabled, it's fantastic. The display theme can be changed and there are apps for many custom made displays too! I also like that it isn't too bulky - I have fairly skinny wrists but it fits quite nicely. A couple of small complaints - the reminder to stand up can be irritating as it buzzes 3 times - once to remind you, once to say you've almost done a minute of steps, and once to tell you it's completed. I only need the one! I also find that my 'do not disturb' settings sometimes get ignored.

very impressed
MY daughter avised me to buy this particular watch as I only really wanted it for the step meter, she has one the same and said it was basic enough for me to understand. I am 62 and was not born in the era of such technology. I will be honiest I did struggle abit and i needed to video her to set up the initial pairing of the watch as i didnt understand the wording. Once i had it paired to my samsung galaxy i was away and I have found all the setting very interesting, like the sleep app. Who would know it could tell you how badly you sleep at night. If I had to make a comment about a something i didnt like it would be that the silacone strap does make it almost stick to your coat or jumper when trying to look at the time. Plus the watch is alittle high and is hard to get out from under a coat sleeve. I think in the hot weather the silacone strap will become to hot against my skin and I do struggle to do the watch up with that little popper as i need my glasses to see the holes. I am very happy with this watch and would definately recommend it for the small price I paid. I have since found out that I can replace the strap for loads of different colours and styles {not silacone ones}. This watch is worth buying. I give it 100%

Excellent
So far only used for a couple of days and a much bigger improvement to Mii band 5 previously owned. I'm shocked and pleasantly surprised we can now send replies & emojis via WhatsApp (app I used excessively lol). Notifications are wonderful, BBC News/Sports updates, Tapo CCTV updates to name but a few. Practically any notification you get on your mobile can be set to notify you on the band but the more botications, the more power 8t uses. Charging is so fast (best charger for these too, 2 pin version). I use Zepp Life app as I think this is much nicer than Mini app, I maybe wrong (do tell). Also I use a customisable Mii 7 band face app so I can put my own personalised images e.g. family, as a background. Ok just realised if u give permission to allow photos, you can use any of your personal photos in Zepp Life store (5 stars for that). Powerful enough vibrations are great for waking you up too (what did I do before using Mii band I have no idea lol). Anyone else notice if you're watching a movie on yr phone, even though music feature shows no music found, try pressing pause, guess what... it actually pauses, stops and plays whatever you're watching 😲 fantastic. In Netflix, it actually brings the names of any episode you're watching too, how about that hey (especially if you can't find remote at the time). Absolutely fantastic. Not really tried other health features as not really what I purchased it for. Excellent bit of kit and would definitely buy again for the price. Ordered a new leather band and screen cover as my last Mii band 5 had chips in 2 areas at the edges, so was not impressed with that as I really did love my Mii band 5. Mii band 7 definitely supercedes Mii 5, as it should anyway. Once you put it on you're not even aware you're wearing it till you get a notification. Very, very happy customer. Steps are a bit hit and miss but hey ho. Will update further once I've used it for longer.

Very disappointed 😔 Smart band 6 is much better
After around 3 years, my Smart band 6 started giving me nonsense information (either that or I was clocking up some impressive mileage sleep walking!) so needed replacing. I loved everything about it but thought I’d upgrade to a 7 as that’s bound to be even better right? I’m so disappointed and wish I’d bought another 6 instead. The actual watch face itself is bigger but the display is somehow worse. They have packed so much in - and therefore scaled it down. I loved the display on my 6 but the closest I can find (free) on my 7 is one where the numbers for the time are so big they are displayed one above the other like: 08 30 Which doesn’t work for me, especially as the date is minuscule by comparison. Some people love the fact there are hundreds of other display formats for the watch face but they’re not free and I, personally, don’t want to have to pay to be able to have a simple watch face and date I can read! The format for some of the features (like sleep) used to be easy to read but is now - to my mind - incomprehensible. I wish I hadn’t bought it but - hey Ho - you live and learn. My advice, if you’ve got a 6 you’re happy with, don’t upgrade to a 7, just buy another 6. UPDATED: I’ve downgraded the review on this item further now since it died on me this morning. Not literally, but the battery ran out - no warning and nowhere on the screen is battery life displayed (again, unlike the band 6). If you want a band with a photo of your cat on the display but no useful info, buy a version 7 and pay for the display you want. If you want a smart watch to tell you the time, your step count, heart rate and the battery life - this isn’t the one for you.
