It seems durable and it was easy to assemble. I have a bunch of AC Infinity gear and the quality is generally pretty good. But that's all been talked about already. What I want to talk about specifically is PAR light levels. You need to understand them if you want your seeds to sprout and start off strong. After I assembled the dome (without extension) I put my PAR meter at roughly center of the grow tray. Keep in mind this is not a professional meter and this was in no way scientific. I understand the PAR will vary around the tray a bit, but I'm not going to map it because I'll never have it full anyway. So the readings were from the CENTER only. What I found is that you are probably going to want to use the extension even if your seedlings won't get that big before transplant. Without the extension on, PAR varies from 23 on LVL 1 up to 111 on LVL 10. That's too low for cannabis. When the extension is installed the PAR goes up a little more than 3x. LVL 1 is 73 and LVL 10 is 360. That is a perfectly acceptable range. Also, with the extension on you then have two side and two top vents. This will work better for air flow purposes. The point here is the instructions make no mention of this topic. It basically just says use the extension or not depending on plant height. After measuring the light output levels I would recommend that it should probably be used from the beginning. Keep on growing friends. Also you're going to want a thermo/humidity digital gauge to stick inside there. They are cheap and work well, I have them all over my house.

Das Set ist wirklich gut durchdacht. Gerade für die Keimung von Samen und die Anzucht von Stecklingen bietet es sehr gute Voraussetzungen. Licht und Temperatur lassen sich passend steuern, und die Wasserversorgung ist für die An- und Aufzucht völlig ausreichend. Besonders praktisch sind die verschließbaren Ventilationsöffnungen, mit denen sich die Luftfeuchtigkeit gut regulieren lässt. Sehr sinnvoll finde ich außerdem das Zwischenstück. Sobald die jungen Pflanzen etwas größer werden, schafft es den notwendigen zusätzlichen Platz, ohne dass gleich das gesamte Anzuchtsystem gewechselt werden muss. Insgesamt ein praktisches, durchdachtes und flexibel nutzbares Anzuchtsystem.

I heard some complaints about the large size, so bought the medium kit. I have purchased several types of humidity domes, some quite expensive and I wasn't happy with them. The AC infinity medium kit is the perfect humidity dome. I now have 4 of these. Build quality is excellent, lights are very bright, attach to the dome, and are very efficient (LM301H EVO!). Accessory package is impressive as well. They are more expensive then other domes, but are worth every penny.

Le tapis chauffant est tout de même dépourvu de thermostat, et dès que les plantes s'approchent du plafond de la serre, il est indiqué de retirer les couvercle et de fixer les lampes plus haut, ce qui n'est pas forcément faisable chez tout le monde... On a pas mal de fils et deux boitiers de réglages à gérer. Ce n'est finalement pas plus pratique que de combiner une serre, un tapis et des lampes achetés séparément, à part qu'on a qu'un seul achat à effectuer.
