Champ Max Shoe Spike Pro Wrench

Just got this today & put it straight into service! Had a pair of shoes where the soft cleats were very worn.. Got them all out bar 2 with the cleat gripper. The other 2 had nothing to grip so punched a couple of holes in the remnants of the cleat with an awl, used the 2 spike accessory & out they came with a bit of effort & swearing!! This is a well built tool & everything feels solid. The 3 heads fit firmly & the ratchet on the handle worked as it should to get the old cleats out & new ones in. The key thing with cleats/spikes on golf shoes is not to let them get too worn down as it does make everything much harder work when they’re worn too smooth. This is an excellent tool & I wish I’d have bought one sooner rather than relying on the course Pro shop. Cheers.

Having struggled with other tools that hurt my fingers and slipped and damaged the holes in the spikes, I got a cheap one like the Champ but the prongs bent! This tool released all 18 spikes on my footjoys with no real effort! I fitted Champ Zarma spikes that are the multi-fit type Slim Lok that many find keep falling out when fitted to fast twist shoes. This tool feels firm and allows you to just push and twist until you feel two clicks and they are in! After four rounds they are still in! Well worth the price, excellent quality tool.

Wrench very good to remove studs 3 different heads makes it easier however some of my studs were to worn down for wrench to get out so had to use long nosed pliers

I never usually write reviews but this product is so good. I have had stubborn broken cleats embedded in two pairs of golf shoes for about 2 years. Using this wrench and accessories removed them all with ease. This allowed me to clean the existing rivets and put new cleats in with ease, plus seal them properly. Excellent product and has basically restored well kept shoes to nearly brand new usage. Fantastic piece of kit.

Have tried many similar devices but this was comfortable in the hand and the ratchet device meant it was very easy to apply force to the studs. Excellent piece of kit.

Very pleased

Been struggling to get old cleats out for years and years. Actually had to rip out my winter spikes as they were impossible to remove and due the metal spike my old remover shredded the placement holes. Ended up with a lovely blister on my palm from the pressure. Treated myself to this wrench and it's so well made and works like a treat. The additional removal heads are great when the holes don't work. Also doubles up as a ratchet screwdriver or socket wrench if you use various bits. Love it!

Works well, but the only little thing is the bits won't stay in the tool.
