Arches® Aquarelle Travel Pad

Great size for travel, well known watercolor paper which is excellent for artists, has been used for decades, extremely durable , has the ability to take watercolors nicely absorbing them evenly, you can remove areas you don’t want or lighten by using water and blotting. The paper holds up well when you do this wash. It’s a great value, especially when you want quality paper for travel or smaller projects.

This journal is the perfect size for travel but also excellent for quick daily paint sessions. A great way to test out new ideas before committing to a larger size. Wonderful paper and truly the best quality paper I've used, I love arches paper! It is worth the price. I use it for watercolor and gouache with great results. I believe it improves your paintings.

Great travel pad with the spiral bind to lay flat. Arches is among the best, top-notch quality watercolor paper I have used, which made this an easy purchase for me.

Arches Travel Pad is perfect in so many ways. Spiral bound makes it easy to use and the heavy paper holds up well for multiple washes. The size allows me to throw it in a case so I always have it with me. Once I tried the Arches brand I noticed the difference from other papers. The Winsor Newton paints I use are more vibrant and remain true without becoming muddy. As others have said, it is a little more expensive but when you spend your value time on a piece, you want the best tools available. My order arrived in shrink wrap in a bubble envelope in perfect condition in a very short period of time. Can't ask for more than that!

What can I say, Arches is the gold standard for paper for non- professionals. Not the least expensive but, once you compare the behavior of your water and paints on this to student grade papers, you will be amazed at what you can do.

I have purchased this travel pad 3 times. It's great for watercolors or drawing when you don't want to carry a lot of gear. However, my latest purchase came via US mail in a flimsy envelope so the tablet was bent and the protective clear wrap was torn. I need the tablet now so am hoping to flatten it myself and make it work. Why such a flimsy package?

Excellent quality paper in a nice sized pad and I love the spiral binding so I don't have to fight to keep my pages flat.

Produto chegou muito bem embalado. Ainda não posso avaliar o Sketchebook com relação a aquarela, mas ele tem um ótimo acabamento e as folhas são espessas com uma leve textura parecendo muito boa. Nos anúncios desse Sketchebook dizem que ele tem uma capa dura para ajudar a apoiar na hora de desenhar/pintar, mas apesar da capa ser bonita ela não é dura. Porém, pra mim, nada que afete negativamente o produto. O Sketchebook não tem um tamanho tão convencional, é importante você verificar antes em casa se o tamanho está de acordo com a sua necessidade.

Perfect! Arrived quickly. Cellophane wrapped and best of all no damaged corners. Can't wait to take on holiday. Be interested to try the hot pressed travel version too. Many thanks to the the supplier.

Love arches paper and love that it is in a binded book. Easy to take on the go and the perfect size, not huge but not too small. Quality is great and will continue to buy.
