TP Toys TP304 Wooden Swing Frame (Forest Double)

Late review BUT done now as these swings have, for months and months, suffered every weather and abuse possible from a pair of twins, who adore them. Survived the weather perfectly, sturdy, seats are brilliant - one set has now been grown out of and the 'big' children's seats are now on. Fabulous swings Excellent price. Highly recommended as safe, durable and so much fun. Thank you.

Bought this swing to replace a single seat metal swing that had seen better days. We're really happy with this. It seems sturdy and well made. Not sure how but I managed to put this together myself. A could of bolt's were fiddly to tighten but got there eventually. With two people this would be simple to put up.One negative. I wasn't too keen on the ground stakes supplied. Firstly, they're plastic, so difficult to get in the ground. Second, they aren't very long. I'm sure that it wouldn't be a huge issue provided the kids didn't swing too high, but just to make sure I decided to set them in the ground with a bit of postcrete.Overall, the kids love it and we're very happy parents.

I tried several swings and returned most of them as they did not meet my expectations. I felt that this pricy but thought of trying this as I got vexed with iron ones. Assembling instructions were helpful and effort to fit was decent, but I think 2 people doing this will be good. Swing was sturdy and good looking. It has got 2 swing sets suitable for age above 3 and this disappointed me a bit. I thought the baby swing set will be provided. I had to buy baby swing set. My kid who is 1.8 years old loves to swing on this. But the only problem I felt is ground pegs that were supplied are not good enough to make the swing sturdy. This is now wobbling and I have to do some thing so that it is firm in my lawn. I really doubt if two people could swing with out the swing frame wobbling. This could with stand two children but the fixings supplied may not make it sturdy enough and this defeats the whole point of going for double swing set. To conclude if we could some how make it sturdy either by adding external fixings or put concrete then this product is excellent. I feel this product could be recommended.

Metal Buckle on the swing broke very quickly so is now unusable. Customer services have been severed to an AI so are incredibly unhelpful

Good quality went together easy ,very sturdy ,only 1 little gripe u can't just clip on another seat as we have a baby seat to change too that's the only thing grandaughter loves it .

This should be a good item. 30 years ago we bought a large TP system for our children it was great and lasted years which was why we chose this for our grandchildren. I started to construct the swing frame and immediately found there were nuts missing. Having contacted TP customer services described the problem and gave the missing part number a few days later some nuts arrived. Unfortunately not the right ones I eventually spoke to the same person at TP who had apparently decided to ignore the part number and sent a pack of a different type of nuts which duplicated ones. I explained that my grand children were coming to stay this weekend and she said she would send the correct nuts ASAP. The weekend is here and no nuts yet. I am going to try to construct the swing using temporary nuts I have bought which will be replaced when the specified nuts eventually arrive. My opinion of TP has been radically changed by this poor customer service.

Now a permanent fixture in our garden. Had to upgrade seat to be suitable for little ones but they love it.I found it a two man (me and wife) job to assemble but a young fit person could manage on their own. I also had it cemented in by a friend (took him 10 mins)Overall very pleased and still have the other seat when the grandchildren get bigger.
