I have a 1969 VW. Apparently an odd year for carburetors. The mechanic said this distributor won’t work. I mistakenly thought all VW motors were the same. My bad.

Didnt receive the correct whole ignition pack

Easy installation with a timing gun on my 65 beetle. After a few test I am getting a very hot spark without any starting or lagging issues. Time will tell on the longevity.

Works great on my stock 1600 twin port easy to time and chugs away nicely using twin empi carb’s only just in so no long term info but looking good so far 👍

The electronic ignition module never worked. I spent hours trying to diagnose this and ended up biting the bullet for a mobile mechanic. I couldn't believe something that was new would not work straight out of the box. Also the spark plugs where not suitable for vintage vehicles like my air-cooled VW.
