It has what looks like a carry handle on the back but this is ...
I used this for a 20 miles TT race and It worked really well. The thing I noticed about racing in a TT is that I was loosing a bit of time reaching down for my water bottle where I could be on the bars in the tuck position. So this was the logical solution. The one thing I did notice is getting the straw set to the right height so you can take a sip of drink. The only down side to this product (and it is a small downside) is that when you fill the bottle up you just have to place a thumb over the straw to stop any liquid coming out and that's it. The bottle also has a flip cap so you can pop in any hydration tablets if you wish.It has what looks like a carry handle on the back but this is to put your garmin on.All in all this product helped me get a better TT time hands down.

Profile Design Help team are great!
Completed Ironman 70.3 Edinburgh with this HC system. Unfortunately mid race the bottle launched itself into oblivion but luckily for me it was caught on camera. I sent an email to the PD team explaining the issue and they swiftly dispatched another HC bottle, as well as the team congratulating me on my race finish!Great team, great product. Would wholesomely recommend to anyone.

Well worth it
Just bought one of these after borrowing one for Mallorca 70.3 and Bolton Ironman and there excellent. Im 6 ft 2 so turned it around so my garmin is at the front of the bike so its safer to see all my data and more important the road infront, it worked a treat. There's also a clip that goes over the bottle to stop it bouncing out.

Get idea but flawed
Very nice idea in theory, But in practice but i think the bike got more hydrated than me. This seems a design fault from the straw causing spillage on to the bike and cycle computer while travelling.Putting electical tape around the base of the straw helps a little.a small seal would of been nice.

If you want broken teeth and a sticky bike buy this bottle
Bottle does did not seal correctly splashing sticky drink all over myself and my bike, also the drinking straw is very stiff; so if your drinking from it and cycle over even the smallest of bumps it stabs you in the mouth.

Would recommend 100%
Although I couldn't get the brackets to work with my setup, the gap was to small between my bars and another wee positioning problem I ended up using 3 reuseable cable ties and now it sits perfectly under the bars. Bottle can still be removed for cleaning etc. Would recommend 100%

I also found the other cage too inaccessible to remove the bottle easily while cycling
I bought a Profile Design Aerodrink Basebar Bracket to fit a Profile Design Aero HC Drink System to my road bike handle bars for use in Ironman events. I had experienced, in the build up sportives and triathlons that I had undertaken, that I needed to slow down to remove my usual drinks bottle from one of the cages. I also found the other cage too inaccessible to remove the bottle easily while cycling. I therefore saw this system as ideal to my drinking on the go easier and to ensure that I drank enough fluids. By the time I decided to buy this product, I was only a couple of weeks out from my first Ironman. I did the cardinal sin of only trying this product on short rides to see if it was fitted correctly and to make adjustments. I found that the straw was actually uncomfortably short for the riding position if you didn’t have aerobars. I replaced with a straw from another drinks bottle I owned and added a bite valve. On the day of day of ironman Weymouth, I exited the swim, transitioned smoothly and set off on my bike. I hadn’t gone 5 miles when I hit a small bump in the road and the bottle came flying off. I stopped to collect the bottle because I didn’t want to be disqualified for littering but I was sorely tempted not too. Due to the straw lying in the road I couldn’t drink from the bottle and meant I was now down to one bottle of my preferred sports drink for the remainder of the 112 miles.I believe there is a fundamental design flaw of the Profile Design Aerodrink Basebar Bracket. The clip that connects the plate that the bottle mounting is screwed into is not strong enough to withstand the forces that the bottle undergoes when it is full. Hence any bumps in the road cause the clip to fail and the bottle to come flying off. When I used the bottle again 7 days later for ironman Wales I resorted to using cable ties plus super glue to keep the clip-on-plate in place. Even still there was a lot of vibration and an annoying rattle. I believe the bracket and bottle mounting needs to be significantly redesigned.
