Good quality soft muslin
This is not a sheer muslin as its soft cotton. Ive tried to show this in my photo. It has excellent structure and will hang well. I'm using it as a soft fine lining and it will do the job well at a fair price. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Quality, Simple & Effective Product.
I purchased this fabric for use in the kitchen during the stock and consommé making processes. This muslin fabric is simply perfect and highly effective for fine stock and consommé straining purposes. I single layer a very fine mesh sieve with this fabric (worth noting that this method is also suitable when using a chinois conical sieve), works extremely well, certainly helping produce a smooth stock and/or consommé texture. This is a strong, durable muslin fabric suitable for multiple usages for straining and liquid filtering that I consider you can trust. As I will be using this fabric solely during food preparation processes, I firstly washed the fabric on a high heat setting for both hygiene and best practice reasons.Delivery was very swift, however a note to the individual who cut (hacked) the fabric length as ordered for shipping perhaps try using better quality and sharper scissors during the cutting, using the mark-then-cut method as the fabric arrived badly frayed with awful jagged fabric cuts. I resolved this issue by trimming however it resulted in a considerable waste of some good fabric. Having now frequently used I can highly recommend this quality and highly effective fabric.

Generous amount for 2 homemade muslin strainers
The amount supplied was enough to divide into two more or less squares so as to have 2 homemade muslin strainers. I use theseto put the innards of Seville oranges or limes etc when making marmalade. The weight is not quite as much as I waa expecting however as I had one fro. another company before which was about twice the weight and lasted many years. Im not sure how long this will last and there is the fact that with a lighter weight perhaps better percolation can happen and if you are buying this to make cheese with or as a wrapper of some sort it represents fabulous value. I think 4 stars is a fair rating.

Not for sewing. Terrible quality.
Off-white, not white, and very poor quality. Would be fine for jam-making etc, but definitely not for sewing which was what I wanted. Would not recommend or buy again.

Brilliant stuff thank you
I experimented with this muslin and discovered the best fusible interfacing ever! Here's how to do it...thin some fabric glue or fray stop with water in a small bowl and lightly brush on to the back of your main fabric, put the woven muslin on and let dry and then you can iron it with some paper . It works really well and is a lot cheaper than iron on woven interfacing. Try it!
