I was bitten by a brown recluse on the back of the leg. These bites are a slow build up, it stung like a nettle sting for the first day, by day two I was stricken with bulls eye like ring rash, I went to urgent care, could hardly sit because it was so sensitive, they gave me antibiotics to prevent future infection. Day 3, I couldn't sleep, it throbbed painfully all night long and continually woke me up, even just a light breeze against the skin was so much pain. The redness now took up the entire backside of my leg, and was deep deep red, the bite location was a nickle sized purple mark, I was taking advil around the clock just to function, and could not find any relief for days 3-5, even after 3 full days of antibiotics the redness continued to spread and the leg was so hot to touch. I was starting to get really worried about what this would become since the ulcer hadn't even formed yet and the purple mark was growing now to quarter size. And my leg was constantly throbbing , husband found this clay and bought it, had it shipped next day. I caked it on, and immediately the clay gave some relief as it was very cooling for my fevered leg. Once it dries it starts to flake off, when it was flakes off, I'd wash the leg with warm water and mild soap, and re-apply the clay. I did this all day and night. I hadn't slept well in 3 nights but the first night with the clay was significantly better, next day the redness and my leg was visibly tapering off. I continued with the clay as it was the only relief I was getting besides Advil. After 3 days with the clay the bite was merely just a nuisance like an aggravated mosquito bite. By day 4 of clay the bite was an after thought. I had been miserable for 5 to 6 days with that bite and with just 3 days of clay it was healing at a remarkable pace. And to top it off the bite never formed an ulcer at all! It's been two weeks from the date of my vote and it's completely pain free and no redness remains, only just the smallest little mark like a small dime sized bruise ! I'm amazed! This stuff truly works!

Instructions say to use this stuff right away,but I just thought I had been bitten by a flying insect. The bite itched like crazy for several days before finally developing that tell-tale ring-shape with a crater. (See 1st & 2nd photos--FYI bite is adjacent to a birthmark). Came here, ordered, two days later had the product, so by then it had been a week since the bite. Didn't have much hope this would help. But it did!!! The clay mixture the bite weep/seep, drawing the nasty stuff out, and the itching got much better. After five days of applying/reapplying three or four times a day, I stopped treatment. Received an already used container..with two stickers on top..they had to know it was used and returned..this stuff is not cheap. Amazon tool care of it and is sending a hopefully unused container.

I can't rate this product right now. My father got bitten by a brown recluse spider. I purchased this to offer him some comfort in the healing process since it had some good reviews. When it arrived to him after opening seal he saw two holes in the protective covering. This concerned him especially in the world we live in. He refuse to use it. Seeing as it is expensive I tried to replace rather than return but I was unable to do so through amazon. So out 30.00. It smells herbal and helpful, but when I was taking a picture of the product I got some on me, and it tingled. Now, I don't know if that is a part of what it is supposed to do, but doesn't make me feel good as the product may have been tampered with. To note, my father also said some had leaked out the side in transit. Also, a note my dad wanted me to add is that when you open the product the jar label adheres to the plastic and will ripe the label off.

I bought this product, after being bitten by either a black widow, or brown recluse, spider. The results were very debilitating, with a tax You for several days, headache, fatigue… In future, even though I hope not to be bitten like that again, I will be glad to have this product on hand. I was bitten several years ago by a brown recluse, spider and luckily got to the emergency room before the poison got to my heart.

Our back yard is a wooded area and full of brown recluse spiders which find their way into our home. Last week I was finally bitten by one after almost 47 years of dodging them. There was almost immediate swelling, itching and pain. Long story short….I’ve been using you clay mix 3 or 4 times a day for 6 days with great results. Had gone to urgent care, but pills made me sick (quit taking them) and tropical ointment kept the wound wet and was not working. I truly believe the clay I started to use then kept the venom from doing any more harm. (Jar says it works if you start using it immediately after bite.) The odor is strong when using and it stings quite a I bit when you first apply to broken skin but that’s the mixture doing it’s job. The weeping finally has stopped and I am so grateful for your product!! I will keep a jar handy from now on!!! Thanks so much!!!!

Have put it on several spider bites and has dried them up and relieves itching. Have not tried on stinging bites yet. Well pleased.
