I use the medium tint in winter and the medium/deep in summer when I have a tan or when I want to give myself the appearance of a bit of a tan. When in doubt, I would suggest going slightly darker than slightly lighter. Also, give the BB Cream a few minutes to "set" before you judge what it's doing -- it always looks amazing from about 5 minutes after I apply it through the rest of the day, regardless of what I think while I'm applying it. (BTW, I'm an olive-y skinned white person.) **Q: What's the difference between bb and cc?** A: CC cream typically has more coverage,and is better for oily skin,BB cream is a tinted moisturizer with light coverage that's more hydrating for dry skin! **Q: does the light one have a warm tone?** A: I am cool tone and have used the light shade for years. it looks a bit warm at first but in a few minutes it looks neutral. I have very light skin. It looks very natural and is buildable. I have a very fair redhead complexion and usually worry that the 'light' option is still too dark/beige for my pale skin when choosing these creams, but this one really surprised me! It's smooth going on, and lasts all day long, with just enough coverage to camouflage any discolourations or dark circles. I would not rely on this for sun protection, however, always wear MVB/MVA sunscreen underneathe for the best coverage on your face.
