You may read a few reviews from one or two miserable people by ignore, this is arguably the world's number one dinghy racing watch and my last one lasted 12 years before I sadly dropped it overboard by mistake. Over half the dinghy racers in my club and nearly two thirds of the sailors in this year's worlds wore this watch. It's brilliant! 😃

I've got 2 of these excellent watches which I use on a Committee boats or in ribs very robust1 Had problems trying to renew the battery it's not easy. I'll get a shop to do it next time !

The unit itself works just fine, however the supplied strap is far too short to wear over foul weather gear and the buckle broke after only 2 wearings. Optimum's response was that they don't see that breakage often and that I could buy myself a new strap and buckle. Not a great response, plus shipping to Canada would at least double the cost of the strap. I have made my own replacement!
