This thing is a beast. It does it all.
The media could not be loaded. I could not find a review on this bad boy to save my life. Not sure how long it has been on the market, but regardless, I have high praises for the PMUX9. This is the most I/O for the price, bar none, nothing else comes close as far as I can tell. It's kind of a mixer/ audio interface hybrid. Tons of options just on the unit. The 24 onboard effects are cool, I only recently got it haven't gotten to try every effect for very long, but I really do like the reverb effects, all are good on my Les Paul. The independent granual controls for every separate input and output are super nice. The headphone 1/4" out has a TON of headroom, I'm rocking 250 Ohm DT990's and it's drives them no problem, great both on a separate mic amp and without the amp straight from PMUX9. The monitor out has a ton of headroom on my Presonus Eris E5's, but for some reason clips super early without my subwoofer turned on, but when turning on sub I can crank it without clipping, might be my own problem, idk. Cannot attest to the mic preamps, don't have an XLR mic, but the 2 inputs can be made in stereo L & R for one channel, or two mono channels independently. Build quality is superb, solid metal, feels like aluminum (got some HEFT),every I/O port feels sturdy, knobs have a little vague wobble but the feel while turning a dial is *noice*. I got it on a sale with an additional 5 dollar coupon from Amazon, like $80 including tax, an absolute steal IMHO. A heck of an upgrade from a $40 Behringer UM2 and honestly buy this over a Scarlett Focusrite and then use Reaper DAW. That combo is cheaper and higher quality and way more integration abilities.

OK, but doesn’t work as intended
This device does not work as intended. A lot of the labeled functions. Don’t do what they say they do. For $40 it’s pretty good though. But you will not be able to turn off the direct monitoring. Will not be able to record guitar and the microphone inputs (XLR) kind of work. It mostly works as a mediation for a speaker and a computer., live 1channel, To get the signal to a processable sample rate for a PA or very basic needs There are some neat uses but if you want this for your home studio, probably not the choice to go with

Works for a month then the Audio Distortion begins!
Bought this as a budget preamp. It was a good price and it's quality is reflected in the price.Out of the box, I noticed the knobs all feel "loose" as if the slightest amount of force would break them but it worked well for the first month. After the first month, I started getting audio distortions during playback and a high frequency whine when using my XLR microphone.IMO, not built to last but the plug and play is nice I guess and I'm hoping I just got a defective unit.

Far surpasses Scarlett 4th Generation
I bought this to replace my Scarlett 4th Generation and it has been amazing especially for the price. My Scarlett was over 200 dollars where the Pyle was under 100 and actually does what I need it to do. It's worth trying it.
