The media could not be loaded. As someone who has been trying to learn German for a while now, I found this book to be incredibly helpful. The short stories are engaging and well-written, and the included audiobook made it super easy to follow along and improve my pronunciation.Furthermore, I found that the phrases and words used in the stories were relevant and practical, which made me feel more confident in my German-speaking abilities.

If you are just getting started, this will be too hard for you. LOTS of vocabulary. Some pretty difficult sentences, too. I’d say it’s more like B1/2 than A1/2.

The story is pretty good. It is fun to read and I actually enjoyed it. It is just a bit disingenuous to call this "Learn German with Stories". For a book called "Learn German with Stories" this book is seriously lacking in the "story". It is 16 1/4 pages of story and the rest is either a dictionary or a "how to use this book" section.
