good base layer for long motorcycle trips
I bought these pants because I was planning a long motorcycle ride and I needed something to minimize the chaffing of my knees from the armor in my kevlar jeans. I needed something that is thin so that it didn't add bulk under the jeans. These worked for the purpose in that the jeans did not rub my knees raw after 20 hours of riding. There was also the benefit that they slide easily inside the jeans so as I shifted positions on the seat to fight off fatigue, the compression pants slid around very easily. Anyone that has ridden a motorcycle for more than a few hours knows that your pants bunch up in your crotch as you shift around in the seat. To undo the bunching up I usually need to stand on the pegs and use one hand to tug my pants down. But with the compression pants on, I was able to readjust my pants by lifting off the bike, coming forward, sitting down, and pushing back letting the friction with the seat pull my pants back in place. I bought these and I bought some other pants that are specifically made for motorcycle riding. These were 1/3 the price of the motorcycle specific pants. There is a significant difference. After 20 hours on the road, the next day I changed to the motorcycle specific pants and felt the difference. The motorcycle pants have a lot of elastic in the calf, thigh, and butt which made a bid difference in the bloodflow in those areas. I think these compression pants were cost efficient for shorter rides (maybe 8 or less hours) but for longer rides, the more expensive motorcycle specific compression pants are worth the extra cost.

Compression pants
Good material fits well

wears well, keeps its shape...comfy.
This is a good pair of stretch pants. They are not too thin and have a good waist band built into the fabric. Some others the material stretches out or the sewn-on waist band gets weak.

Insulating Warmth
Added warmth to lighweight slacks in 24F breezey weather. Fit well, but in different ways: white ones long in waist, red & dark green fit below the hips, didn’t slip or bunch either way. Socks fit over ankles. Good deal.

great item
Good buy on many reasons, this will do many jobs and first is to keep warm under jeans, second is for a guy to wear them could cause a positive outlook with his girlfriend or wife. That is far I can say about them
