Nothing much to say — the performance speaks for itself. The Samsung 990 PRO SSD is incredibly fast, with read speeds up to 7,450 MB/s. I’m using it with a Gigabyte AORUS B850 motherboard, Ryzen 9 7900X processor, and RTX 5070. Everything runs super smooth — from boot times to gaming and heavy workloads. Perfect for high-end setups and definitely worth the investment.

As expected from 990 pro it is very fast. i am using Legion 5 with Ryzen 7. i bought for 837aed and it is totally worth it

Grabbed this to add an NVME SSD to my rig and the difference is night and day! I still can't experience the full blistering speeds as my Motherboard is PCIe 3.0. Will upgrade mobo soon so can't wait to see the further upgrade in speed.Installation was quite simple, didn't have anything to screw the SSD in (package doesn't come with one) so relied on my motherboards heatsink adhesive to keep it in place, works great so far!

Samsung always make good product. This one is no exception. Even though the price is a little too high compared to other products similar to this but it still worth buying this.

Samsung make the best SSDs in my view. Their hardware, paired with the Samsung Magician software is second to none other in the market. The 990 PRO series builds upon the success of the 980 PRO and there is a measurable difference on my system between the two. I'm enjoying reads in excess of 7400MB/s, and writes around 6500MB/s. I only trust Samsung for solid state storage in my computers - they have the best performance and reliability, and this 990 PRO is the best Gen4 SSD in their prestigious line-up.

The current price is outrageous, but I got this drive a while back and it’s been amazing. I use one for my OS and boot drive, and I have one for my games. Boot times are between 8-10 seconds, and games run perfectly on it. The real issue right now is price. When I got this drive I paid less than 150 bucks for the 2TB. The current price is wild and as good as it is, I wouldn’t personally pay the insane amount.While the speeds are great, the average person/gamer isn’t going to notice that much of a difference with a cheaper one with slightly slower speeds. So price to performance I wouldn’t recommend paying the current amount.
