Really good Simplehuman Bin works really well with the automatic open and closure

I was hesitant for a while choosing between so many choices for sensor bin. At first the simplehuman bin seemed a bit pricy but when it arrived all my doubts disappeared. The bin is so stylish, with high quality to all details and most importantly to me- works flawlessly and almost unnoticed. With its 45l you don't have to run every single day to dispose the garbage and the lid closes so tightly that no odor is noticeable np matter what's inside. simplehuman- you made a great product indeed!

I bought this on a whim for our new house. We previously had one with the foot pedal that opened it up. I like this one way more. The first one we ordered was faulty and did absolutely nothing once out the box but good ole amazon had a replacement to me the next day and it works perfectly. The only gripe we have is how easily it tips over when it’s empty ie. When you need to change the bag. Both my husband and I have both had it topple right over with almost no provocation while we were changing the bag. Other than that it has a handy spot in the back that keep the pack of replacement bags which I think is awesome. No more hunting around. Just take out the full bag and immediately replace. It’s also moderately sensitive which means you aren’t waiting a million years for it to open and it stays open until you are done. All In all a purchase I am well satisfied with and can recommend to anyone else thinking of getting it. It’s pricey but built to last and convenient.

I'm in love with my bin. I previously owned a 'nine star's automatic sensor bin, which was difficult to empty because it was huge and it got very grubby as it would close mid way through me scraping food/ stuff into it. Stupidly the battery compartment was on the inside of the front of the lid of the bin where all the nasty grime would collect. This bin however is perfect. It's a lovely size so it's not too cumbersome to empty. The lid stays open as long as it senses there is something there, the battery compartment is in a sensible place, but best of all is the little refil slot to hold the bags! You empty it and then just pull a new bag from the back. It's genius. Absolutely worth the money especially when you think how long you're going to keep your kitchen bin.

Only had for a week, but very happy with the quality, look and sensor lid operation. Had a cheaper brand 50L sensor bin before. This is in a different league. Although its only 45L, because of its design you can compact the rubbish down more so needs emptying less. Also taking a full bin liner out is a piece of cake compared to previous bins.

Its so sleek andmakes putting things in the bin fun. Itworks so well and its a value for money

Love this bin but unlike my previous order for the same item it has been modified and now is battery only operated. Would have preferred to use with a power adaptor like the first one.

Love this bin , its expensive but very good quality, but my wife informed me tis morning it had a hissy fit and kept going up and down for no apparent reason.

I giggle everyday because I love this thing so much. I know it might sound silly, but a trash can really has changed how our home functions. Beyond being incredibly chic for a trashcan, it does everything that they say it does, and with such seeming effortlessness. Yes, the price is rather steep compared to step-trashcans, but this thing is in a class all its own. Never going back to step-trashcans...ever! Only issue is that is opens perhaps too easily, every time someone walks by, whether they are throwing something out or not. Also when cleaning the can itself, it tries to repeatedly open. It would be great if there were a power button to temporarily disable the opening gears. With this model, the only option would be to remove one of the four batteries. But it's so quiet, it's a non-issue. Do not hesitate to purchase this. You will not regret it!

Der Abfalleimer ist bei uns jetzt seit 6 Wochen im Einsatz und ich bin nach wie vor begeistert. - Sensor arbeitet sehr zuverlässig - Der Deckel öffnet schnell und ohne nennenswerte Verzögerung - Der Motor ist sehr leise. Das einzig wahrnehmbare, aber nicht störende Geräusch ist ein leises Klacken, wenn der Deckel schließt. - Das Vorratsfach für Müllbeutel ist sehr praktisch - Volle Müllbeutel lassen sich gut entnehmen und leere bequem einsetzen. - Der Abfalleimer lässt sich bei Bedarf gut reinigen Wir nutzen die Original-Müllbeutel von Simplehuman. Die sind ebenso wie der Abfalleimer selbst alles andere als günstig. Aber man bekommt auch eine entsprechend hervorragende Qualität. Ich kann den Abfalleimer uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Il dubbio se prendere una pattumiera con sensore o a pedale era assillante... Alla fine dopo un periodo di adattamento posso affermare che la pattumiera simplehuman da 45l con sensore è stata la scelta migliore. Si apre veloce e non sbaglia un colpo. Qualità eccelsa per i sacchetti in dotazione, peccato costino troppo i ricambi
