I used this wire to make a cord for a communications receiver speaker. The wire is moderately flexible and has a nice PVC jacket. The inner wires soldered easily to the connectors that I used. Stripping was clean and easy with no fine wires breaking off during the process. This was a low voltage and low current application. The insulation thickness is more than adequate for this type of application.

Okay, this is cheap wire. But it is the best cheap wire I have ever found. I've been in the audio/video business for decades, so I know wire. I bought this to install a security siren in my own home. I didn't expect much. Again, it was just supposed to be a cheap piece of wire. This is good stuff. It unwinds with little or no memory; meaning it doesn't want to stay wound. It's very flexible. It feels quality. It strips easily and nicely. The conductor is very stranded of what appears to be good copper. You can easily tell the red conductor from the black. Again, I never thought I would take time to write a review on a few dollars worth of wire. I am just that impressed. Thank you!

Flexible, durable, and clearly marked—this wire made my LED and speaker installs a breeze. Good insulation, easy to strip, and handles current well. Honestly, it’s weird to get this excited about wire, but here we are.

I wanted to find a good, outdoor rated two conductor, solid twisted pair 20 gauge wire as spec'd for my equipment. I could not find the solid or the twisted pair, but in truth, all the equipment needed was a momentary on current. There is no waveform signal so it is not sensitive to electromagnetic wave radiation interference, and thus twisted pair is not really needed. And although solid core makes it easier to make connections without the chance of a fine strand shorting out, you can be very careful about the connection, or just add solder to a stripped end after twisting it carefully to achieve the same effect. My only complaint is that the wire just comes as a roll, secured with wire ties on two sides of the circle. As soon as you take the wire ties off, the roll starts to tangle (see pic.) I would give it 5 stars if it came on some kind of cheap reel, even just made out of cardboard. So this works, so much so that I have bought it three times.

Great wire just fits my needs

Appears to be real copper. Outer jacket is decent quality and stamped with specs. Have not measured, but might be a little lighter than the claimed gauge. As mentioned by others, can be a tricky to strip outer jacket. I'm using it for running some low wattage led's in a vehicle. Perfect for this and would buy again.
