Slaves (also known as SWEDISH MYNPHO SLAVES and DIE SKLAVINNEN) stars Franco’s wife and muse, the inimitable Lina Romay in a rare villainous role as Madame Arminda, the owner of a notorious high end brothel called The Pagoda, who oversees the kidnapping, sexual torture and humiliation of a young society girl Martine Stedil. When the girl’s father pays the ransom but doesn’t get his daughter back, he and his nasty manservant (played by Franco himself!) raid The Pagoda and enslave Arminda; subjecting her to untold indignities while trying to find out what happened to his child. Review: Cut or uncut, there are better films to buy - If you had a choice of buying either this production or the 'Doriana Grey' which both star Lina Romay, I would strongly suggest that you go for the latter film which is more-explicit. Cut or uncut, there are better films to buy
If you had a choice of buying either this production or the 'Doriana Grey' which both star Lina Romay, I would strongly suggest that you go for the latter film which is more-explicit. This release is highlighted as being 'Uncut' but in my opinion there was nothing remotely graphic to see!

Good movie, one of Franco's better films. Picture quality was great, and if you are buying it for the nudity there is plenty of it.

Sex Slaves
Producer husband Jess Franco is a private detective hired to track down a missing girl. Her father, a wealthy man angers to shut down the sex-slave business if possible. Wife Lina Romay stars as Arminda, a high-powered madam. In her sex trafficking business, she always works to kidnap, drug and whip her victims. Violence is tame. A few naked scenes. Soft core only. A straightforward story. In the very beginning of this movie, one slave runs hard to escape all the way to a federal police office. She becomes a witness revealing Arminda's identity and operation. This time, the private detective successfully kidnaps Arminda ahead of police. Arminda is caught and tortured to disclose where she has kept the wealthy girl. Missing and Found. A happy ending works out.

Good transfer quality. Subtitles ok
Transfer of the film to the DVD was very good, especially if you have a good upscaling player or TV. The film had a number of actors seen in Franco's other films. Relative to Franco's "Wanda the Wicked Warden", "Slaves" was rather tame.
