beware of over charging with the program in this unit.
This unit seemed to overcharge my battery, a sealed lead-acid 100Ah 12V battery. I planned to upgrade my older charge controller to this one. I connected the battery first and the voltage read 13.1V I then connected my 100W solar panel and it climbed to 14.4V. Then, in less than a minute, the voltage kept climbing right up to 16.6V! This caused my connected inverter to shut off due to over-voltage. I tried various settings (the three different battery types) even though the default is correct for my battery. In every instance it did not regulate voltage as it always went well over 16.5V for a battery that should be charged in bulk at 14.4-14.9V and floated at 13.6-13.8V. It just went right up to 16.6V and stayed there for well over an hour.

Voltages are ALL Wrong! Very Disappointing.
When I first got the charge controller I ran a quick test and it seemed to be just what I wanted BUT after one hour the voltages displayed weren't making sense and my battery began getting Very HOT, so I took everything apart and started checking everything manually.I have a 100W solar panel connected but the battery and load have been removed. I've included 3 pictures, the multi-meter is showing the charge of the solar contact as 20.9V while the FLOUREON 10A Solar Charger Controller is displaying 14.4V, The battery connection is showing 16.7V and the Load out is registering as 16.8V.ALL of the voltages are WRONG! the battery was correctly identified as AGM {601} and the highest voltage tops out at 15V and I left the Load output set at 12.6V so neither the battery nor load were being regulated!I believe the reviewer "Keen Tie" had the same issue.I contacted Floureon but they just said contact Amazon for a replacement. I thought maybe there was a reset of some kind but they did not mention anything and considering this thing died shortly after use and atleast one other had similar issues I don't think I want a replacement. This is a very cheap charge controller, so I think I'll spend a little more next time and save my battery which cost more and I'm hoping is not damaged.I Do NOT Recommend this item!
