GA6CE Amber Electro Classical Guitar

This is a lovely guitar. Quality is a word that I would associate with the name Ibanez having owned them in the past. This ones made in China but don't let that put you off because it is very well made and finished. The quality control is excellent. Its small and well balanced but is a full sized guitar with a perfect heavy deep varnish finish with nice detailing around the sound hole and on the bridge. It is detailed around the body edges and has a nice carved top to the headstock where the Ibanez logo is displayed. It plays just like you hope it would with a smooth well finished neck without any sharp fret edges. Has a very nice tone across the range and with the cut away body playing the higher notes is easy. Its sounds great and has a pleasant sustain although it is rather quiet. That is until you plug it in, then its true colours shine through. It has Volume, Treble, Middle and bass level controls that allow full shaping of the sound. They work very well. Its all connected to the amp via a quarter inch jack plug cable which is supplied as is the 9 volt battery. It also comes with an allen key and spare bridge bar ( plastic ). Its a proper Classical guitar with nylon strings. The top three are wrapped. Although its not what I would call a cheap guitar at £200 you can see where savings have been made although this does not detract from the quality or playability. Plastic handled machine heads turning classical sidewinder worm and gear tuning can cause trouble a few years down the line as they have a tendency to wear loose but its an easy fix with a bit of super glue should the problem arise. It also has a plastic nut and bridge bar ( where the strings rest ). I will be changing mine for bone as soon as possible but if you are getting this guitar as a beginner then don't worry about any of it. Just play it. I love it.

+guitar is light enough. it balances well. the tuner works well. price is about right at £217 it has a trust rod - c profile neck might be to fat for some players guitar buzzed a lot on the bass strings ( I had to put bow in the neck to eliminate the buzz) I didn't like the strings so I changed them. conclusion; if you play classical now-and -then and not to concerned about a mid-range guitar, then I think you will be satisfied, this is a good choice at a fair price.

So I wanted to add a nylon strung guitar to my small collection to help develop my right hand picking technique. The reviews looked good and the GA6CE-AM lives up to expectations if not exceeds them. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the internal joinery, no glue runs or rough cut wood. As others say the plugged in sound is very usable and I will be using it on stage at some point. The two fellow musicians I have shown it to were complimentary too.

Love this guitar, l think because of the mellow tone, it’s slightly smaller than lm used too, but lm just loving this Ibanez electro classical guitar . I believe this would be an idea beginners guitar an instrument that will last for many years.

Acoustic, wonderful rich sound easy fingerboard and setup out the box, very well put together , excellent at holding tone and tuning Over all a great value for money piece of kit, built in tuner was a nice surprise. Plugged in , this is where it loses its appeal for me the pickup rely dosnt do justice to the acoustic sound at all and fails miserably, even with the built in eq, i suggest to get the most out of this mike it up .

Recomend to guitar players new or old. Simple to tune easy on the ear.

The guitar is very comfortable to play and has a good finish except for some minor defects that make several strings buzz when played around the mid frets. It sounds great when plugged but you can still notice the buzzing. Will really consider returning it if fixing it turns to be too expensive.

Estoy satisfecho con la compra. Es una guitarra bien acabada, de sonido mas que aceptable, de precio estupendo para la calidad de las maderas y el barnizado brillante muy aparente. Sólo las cuerdas no están a la altura. El previo funciona correctamente y el afinador, para mi innecesario, funciona bastante bien. Una guitarra muy recomendable por poco dinero.

After some initial setup of the action and a little tweaking on the truss rod and this affordable guitar sounds and plays like a million dollars! Sounds great acoustically or plugged into my 60s solid state Baldwin. The description is inaccurate saying that it doesn’t have a pickup when it does have a piezo electronic pickup. It’s a great product for both a beginner or someone who’s been playing a long time.

Lo strumento vale più di quanto costa. Ho apprezzato il setup con action alta che mi ha dato la possibilità di limare il ponte per raggiungere il mio target. Le meccaniche fornite sono discrete, io le ho sostituite con modello più performante per avere una regolazione molto fine e precisa. Uno strumento ottimo per principianti ma valido anche per chitarristi esperti. L'accordatore è preciso, devo provarla attaccata ad un impianto per vedere come si comporta.

Vorab, den Verkäufer trifft keine Schuld! Irgendwie hat die DPL das Paket vergessen oder sonst irgendein Fehler gehabt. Ich hatte schon eine Ersatzlieferung bestellt... Die Gitarre selber: Ein schönes, gut verarbeitet Instrument, eben Ibanez. Die Saitenlage ist OK, der Hals nicht zu dünn. Trocken klingt die Gitarre für mein Empfinden gut. Über Verstärker habe ich noch nicht probiert, ist für mich aber auch nicht wichtig. Für mich als Neu-Einsteiger genau das Richtige. Das Preis/Leitungsverhältnis passt und bei Bedarf würde ich wieder bestellen.

Très bonne guitare ,un très bon son et point de vue qualité prix c'est excellent ,seulement le manche un petit peu large.
