Although it is for a Garmin Sat Nav I bought it for a TomTom knowing that the ball would be too big for the socket on the TomTom case. I wanted this particular design which I couldn't find for a TomTom. After some careful sanding the ball locates in the TomTom socket and I am very pleased with it. Prompt delivery too. It makes good contact with the windscreen.

No fuss window mount, works well and sticks to the windscreen. Replaced my broken tomtom mount and holds the weight of the tomtom 6 inch devices without issue. Highly recommended replacement.

It does the job and I would buy it again. My only gripe is that the Satnav doesn't snap on the ball as securely as it did with the original and is easily knocked off.

I knew I'd have to sand down the ball from 17mm to 16mm, to use it with my TomTom sat-nav. That bit went fine. Fitting it to the windscreen was more of a problem. The 'neck' is shorter than the original windscreen mount, and in my Passat Estate, this equates to the screen always pointing slightly downwards, instead of square-on to my face. It is useable and sticks well to the windscreen, just not quite perfect for me. UPDATE: That it's still October and I've already replaced it, must say something...

Why pay £35 for a tomtom one when this goes from a 17mm ball to a 16mm ball with 5 minutes of sanding? Clings well to the screen.

Awesome ! Yes its a pain to sand the ball down and keep it round, but saves @ £40 on a tomtom one. Only bits of advice when sanding keep turning the ball evenly and constantly in "cupped" sandpaper ~ Add a smear of silicone grease to ball receiver and keep trying to get it to fit. You do not want to over sand and make it slack, it should take a bit of firm pushing to get it in....patience, it will go and it works well. Good solid suction onto windscreen.

Vakumlu çok iyi, ancak topuz kısmı ile kameranın topuzu aynı büyüklükte değil. Bunun topuz çapı çok daha büyük, uzun bir uğraş ve zaman ile zımpara yaparak kameraya uyacak şekilde küçültmek gerekiyor. Hassas bir işlem. Aşırı zımpara yaparsanız kamerayı tutmaz düşer. Alacak olan ona göre dikkatli olsun.

Kan nog niet zeggen hoelang die het houdt. Maar dat heb je altijd met zuignappen. Voorlopig hangt ie weer prima.
