Trane Stainless Steel Burner

The igniters were used to replace the factory ones in my Trane furnace. They were a perfect fit, function well, and were easy to install. They are much better quality than the original ones.

By no means am I an expert or an hvac guy, but I will say, that one day this month my furnace stopped working.. well I didn’t want to pay an expert because we all know how costly they can be so I went to the next best reliable source…. Grok AI (kinda Iike chatGPT for those that aren’t familiar. Well the AI told me that the furnace trends to experience known issues from time to time. I basically told it exactly the sounds and where it stops and yep, that’s when it said I neeed to either clean out the steel burners or buy new ones. Well because it’s already super cold, I cleaned them out but also bought new ones to replace the old ones with. Well, in summary best purchase ever! Is a perfect and cheaper replica for my Trane XV95! And best part they are made in America and stainless steel! Apparently stainless steel won’t rust as easily…my old ones were super rusted hence why there was an ignition problem earlier this month. The attached picture shows you my old ones that were rusted. The pic provided shows when I realized that there was an ignition problem and needed to clean or buy new ones.

These are really nice. They are stainless and shouldn’t rust like the originals.

Perfect fit. You have to wonder why Trane doesn’t make stainless burners standard, or at least part of the propane conversion kit. For an extra ten bucks and minute of work, replace the flame sensor, too, rather than cleaning it. Not a hiccup since these were installed.

Great replacement at 50% of the cost of what the HVAC company wanted to charge. Easy to replace.

HVAC company wanted $800 to replace 3 of these. I did it myself for less than $100 with 15 minutes of work. Nothing wrong with that!
