Great unit, it's really well built. I had to read the instructions, which were thorough, because I've only ever used a steam iron before, years ago.I filled it with distilled water as instructed and plugged it in, flipped the switch, and waited about 5 minutes wondering why it wasn't working, and then I realized there was no light on the on/off button and I'd actually flipped the switch off. Then I ACTUALLY turned it on, and it started bubbling on the heat plate immediately. About 2 minutes and the water hit a full boil, and then I understood why it is made so solidly, it contains super hot water duh. The lockup on the lid and the gasket are great, it comes with a few brushes for the steamer tip and a cup for filling. Bottom of the unit says 700 watts and I believe it, it boiled super fast. We've got no dryer currently, and while this isn't practical to use on everything, it is going to be super handy for the occasions where we need to look less wrinkly. My wife has been wanting one for a while and she's pretty impressed with it too.

I bought this because I had some homecoming dresses for my daughters that needed steaming. It heated up quickly and made shirt work if getting all of the wrinkles out of their dresses. I was having so much fun with it that I decided to do some dress pants and shirts for both me and my husband. It is so much faster than an iron and I think that it works better! I gave it 4 stars because it does run though water really quickly so I did have to refill 3 times to steam 3 pairs of pants, 2 dress shirts, and 2 dresses. See picture of one of the dress shirts I steamed-it took me less than a minute to steam half of the shirt~the difference in that short of time was impressive. Refilling the water is not a deal breaker but the steam nozzle is super hot and needs to come off in order to refill. I used a pot holder to remove it so I did not have to wait for it to cool before continuing. I will definitely recommend this portable steamer to family, friends, and coworkers!

Ordered this steamer for my son last year. It worked great! Until it all of a sudden gave out. Within the warranty time, so we emailed them as on the card. They were understanding and quick to respond. Not only did the replacement arrive 2 days after they said they sent it out, but they also sent us 2 steamers.
