ProCook Spiral Cutter - Black - Stainless Steel

This is what I love in a gadget - absolutely functional for the task with no unnecessary attachments. I always buy items that "for just £10 or £50 more it will do an additional task". I waste my money as the gadget may be fine but I only use the popular function - or as setting it up and putting it away again is so offputting I just don't use it. Thinking Ninja Foodi, but there are plenty more! The ProCook Spiralizer is neat enough to sit on my countertop, absolute breeze to use - and best still so so easy to clean. That really is such a bonus it means I actually use this kitchen gadget instead of struggling with a knife to avoid the excessive cleaning and storage time. It is low cost and has a sturdy metal frame. I would definitely recommend it. Oh, I have become more inventive with my meals as the spiralled veg is lovely and cooks quickly so you retain texture and nutrients!

Good product, made from metal, very sturdy, suction pads work well, it’s easy to use, easy to clean and great value for money.

I tried julienne peelers, twisters, electric gadgets, this is he one tha gets the job done.it is not perfect, but it is the most effective.easy to use, easy to clean, does the job in the quickest way.reason why i say it is not perfect is because it makes a mess.1) for some strange reason when spiralising cucumbers and courgettes/zucchinis, the seeds/middle runs down the side of the machine leaving sort of a puddle2) if your carrot is small, the noodles are curled very tightly so they are like fusili, and because they don't relax, they will stay that way making salad a bit funny to eat, for small carrots i would still use the julienne peeler3) the suction cups work very well but you want to put a plate or bowl at the noodle exit point to catch the noodles and this machine doesn't do that at all well, so i put the back end of the machine on the counter where the suction cups keep it stable, the front suction cups i put on a thin chopping board so after all is done i can lift the board and chase the noodles into a bowl or a pan, instead of having to deal with a wet mess on the counter.All in all, i don't think there i a better device to make zoodles / courgetti, it is a messy affair, but i love my veggi noodles :)

I was enjoying spiralized veg from the supermarket but its quite expensive and once you've opened the pack if you don't use it all it soon goes off-so I decided to get a spiralizer of my own. I have a small pencil sharpener style spiralizer which is okay but with its fixed blade its hard to clean and only does one type of spiral. I tried an electric one- what a waste of money- it was useless and broke after a day! So we did some surfing on the net and this one came out top in most independent reviews. It came quickly and was easy to set up- I was using it within minutes of getting it out of the box. Its sturdy and the suction feet hold the worktop well. The blades on the gripper are sharp enough to stick in the hardest butternut squash and there's very little waste at the end of the veg. The blades are easy to insert and remove and so easy to clean! A little bit of veg gets stuck in the fixed blade but can be removed (I used the tip of a sharp knife to poke it out) but be careful as they really are sharp! I cut a hole in the box after reading someone else did that, for the handle to poke through and it takes up very little room in the cupboard- best thing I've bought in a long time!!

Well its a bit of a gimmicky kitchen gadget but great fun to have. I bought it when husband was on a no carb diet, so that we could spiralise corgettes. It's well made and works just fine. The only trouble with spiralised vedge is that they are quite difficult to eat, because the strips are so long! So actually you need to cut them.

It does the job, but for oldish weak hands, it needs a bit more pressure than I expected. I find It quite hard to change blades.But middle aged friends seem quite happy with it.

I love this product, it is simple to use, very effective and so easy to clean as there are very few parts. It is small therefore finding cupboard space is not a problem. Love it and so do the kids, they are eating way more vegetables and are swapping pasta for spirilized courgette and squash.

L'appareil fonctionne très bien, il faut quand même un légume qui ne soit pas trop fin si on veut que ça fonctionne, par exemple les carottes toutes fines c'est un peu délicat. Mais sinon c'est très pratique et rapide et surtout super amusant de se retrouver avec des spaghettis de légumes! Pour ma part j'ai testé les carottes, les courgettes et patates douces !

Die Klingen sind scharf. War zuerst nicht so ganz überzeugt, da es hier die ein oder andere negative Rezession gibt. Hab den Schneider bereits mit Gurke, Zucchini, Karotten und Kartoffeln angewendet und er funktioniert ohne Probleme. Die Kurbel ist anfangs verkehrt herum aufgeschraubt, damit alles besser in den Karton passt. Wenn man die Stange festhält und die Kurbel dreht, lässt sich diese gut abschrauben. Langes Gemüse muss aber der Gerätelänge entsprechend gekürzt werden sonst passt dies nicht rein z.B. Gurke. Ein kleiner Teil des Gemüses bleibt immer am Stangenende übrig da die Stange nicht bis zur Klinge reicht (Sicherheitsgründe). Die Saugnäpfe am Boden halten richtig gut. Der Schneider und die Klingen lassen sich gut putzen und ist auch sehr hygienisch (Edelstahl). Das Gerät ist nicht zu groß, so dass man mit wenig Platz auch gut klar kommt. Ich denke, dass das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt.

Des salades de légumes, des légumes cuits, beaucoup moins fastidieux que des découpes manuelles, toutefois pas du tout adaptés pour les carottes rapées, coupe trop grosse.La durée de vie des lames est à confirmer, je n'ai pas trouvé comment m'en procurer de rechahge

Sehr schnelle und gut verpackte Lieferung, wie man es von Amazon gewohnt ist.Ich habe den Spiralschneider bestellt und gekauft wegen den guten Bewertungen.Mein Mann grinst schon, weil er jeden Tag Gemüsespaghetti oder Salat bekommt, vielleicht hat er auch ein paar Tränen in den Augen (grins). Es macht wirklich Spaß mit dem Spiralschneider zu arbeiten.Er saugt sich bombenfest auf der Arbeitsfläche fest, da rutscht nix, die Messer sind sehr scharf und die Kurbel lässt sich leicht drehen, braucht man nicht viel Muskel, außerdem für mich sehr wichtig, es ist kinderleicht zu reinigen und kostet nicht viel Zeit. Es ist zwar keine deutsche Beschreibung dabei, aber die vermiss ich hier nicht. Einen Punktabzug gibt es bei mir trotzdem, da kleineres Gemüse nicht mehr passen, bei mir gingen Karotten nicht, das Gemüse braucht wirklich einen guten Durchmesser, daß den Ring umschließt, wo es draufgesteckt wird und es bleibt ein bisschen viel Rest über, daß nicht mehr durchgedreht wird...Schade. Trotz allem "Gut und Günstig" ! Ich habe mir so einen Spiralschneider zum ersten Mal gekauft und wollte sehen, ob ich ihn auch auf Dauer benutzen werde, bevor ich mehr Geld ausgebe und es steht im Schrank... es nimmt übrigens nicht viel Platz weg.

Super ustensile pour découper vos légumes de façon originale : en spaghettis, en spirale, tout est possible, rapide et simple. Pas besoin d'utiliser un appareil électrique, on ne force pas du tout pour débiter courgettes, concombre, etc.Les ventouses sont super efficaces, ça ne bouge pas !Un super rapport qualité/prix.
