Lighthouse BOLT3W 3W Rechargeable Flip Top LED Light Cree

A lot of multi function torches you get for the car compromise on one or two things and are made from quite flimsy plastic. This one doesn't and isn't. The Cree spotlight is incredibly bright and focused, I estimate it projects a beam less than 6' diameter at over 100'. The LED work light is excellent and the warning light perfect for an emergency. All this is put together in a rugged but lightweight body that I wouldn't be too concerned about stuffing in the boot until needed. The only thing I haven't tested to exhaustion is the battery life but this should be pretty good being Li-ion. So pleased I bought another one for the Porsche. Only kidding, it's a 107.

Excellent torch to have in either the boot of your car or in the garage.I charge it up about once a month after using it most days, not for long periods of time.I got it to use on my car but it's a bit cumbersome for under the bonnet, this is not a fault of the torch. It's really good for general work around the car because you can stand it up and alter the angle of the LEDs as the picture shows.

I was expecting a more powerful lighting item: 'lighthouse' is effectively what it is (as per its name). I returned it as it was not adequate for my needs but this is how it felt: fairly light, bulky (you won't be able to hold anything else in your hand whilst holding this lighthouse), several settings, can stand upright.

Not that powerful light but worst of all is the smell of rubber. It is so strong that I have left it in the shed. Two weeks on and still stinks :-(UPDATE - a year on it still stinks - can only be kept in the shed.

This torch is very versatile with appropriate functions and well suited for use as a motoring aid. I mostly keep it in the car and charge it very occasionally from 12v socket in the boot. It has a powerful main beam, useful red flash warning and is strongly made from durable plastic

Ended up buying three of these; one for each vehicle. Very bright LEDs and the battery appears to last a long time too. You can tell when it's charged because the charging LED changes colour. Not sure how easy it would be to replace the batteries when they give up (I've done this in the past) but I expect them to last a while.

Bought this item and in the third week of using it the main bulb went on the unit on part that work

What an absolute superb torch. Incredible beam with phenominal brightness. The red flashing "warning" light is so good that upon placing on top of my car [stationary] it could be seen over 200 yards away, clearly, in thick fog.Having used this torch every day for about two and a half to three hours each day walking the dog, have never lost brightness before recharging for the next day. Definite 10 out of 10.
