Replaced my old lazy susan from around 1996. Was almost the exact same product that was in there. I could have used old mounting brackets if I wanted to, thats how exact this was. Install was pretty smooth after I figured out how to adjust everything. Seems sturdy.

Product itself is of reasonable quality and works exactly as described. Installation instructions are very brief and suitable for cabinet installers or tradesmen, but novice homeowners may struggle. Attaching the door to the shelves requires patience and forethought about desired self heights and will require appropriate tools to mark and predrill suitable pilot holes into hardwood cabinet doors. Laypersons without strong “do-it-yourself” skills may struggle and are encouraged to enlist the assistance of someone who’s very experienced and handy with tools. The instructions saying it takes 15 minutes to install is laughably underestimated.

It was the same brand as the 20 plus years one that broke. The brackets were different. Drilled new holes and it worked like a charm. Took me about 45 minutes to complete the job. Not bad for an 80 year old

I ordered this after my PIE-CUT Lazy Susan from 1994 finally gave out. I've only had the unit installed for about a week, but I've been pleased with it so far. The shelves feel more rigid than I was expecting and the assembly turns and locks with ease after applying a drop of cooking oil to the locking pawl with a paper towel. As the amazon listing is a bit spartan with technical details, I'm providing what I learned after purchasing and installing this product. PIE-CUT Lazy Susans are the ones with shelves that are screwed into the cabinet door, taking the door for a ride as you spin it. KIDNEY-CUT Lazy Susans have a door that opens outward, with shelves that rotate independently. To get the right size, you'll want to measure the diameter of the shelf at the widest point. The kit comes with a drill bit template that you trim to fit flush against the cabinet trim. Drill the pilot holes through the template, attach the brackets, then assemble the kit inside the cabinet enclosure. Once put together, you'll then need to adjust the cabinet. The holes for the mounting brackets should have enough play to align the doors plumb with the cabinets (as the screws clamp the brackets down with locking washers). Just loosen the locking screws and nudge the brackets to adjust. Then there's an adjustment screw at the bottom of the cabinet that raises and lowers the entire assembly to adjust for vertical clearance. When adjusting for vertical clearance, loosen the top retaining screw to prevent tension from building up on the rod. Finally, setting the cabinet closing position is interesting. The tensioner that holds the locking pawl in place has an asymmetric grasp on the rod that applies more tension in one direction than the other. You rotate in the taught direction until the pawl locks into the steel plate, then push the door in the loose direction to align the door, then push again in the tight direction to disengage the pawl and grant access to tighten the pawl nut (setting the desired lock point).

These are NOT independent rotating shelves (which I did not notice). Both shelves rotate together, so if you are a tall guy like me, you have to kneel to see items on the bottom shelf. Installation was fine (took me 30 minutes as opposed to the 15 claimed). Seems solid.

Replaced the old one from the 80’s that had broken down… shelves cracked and cabinet door was sticking. This was an exact replacement and fit perfectly. Easy to install. I kept the existing upper bracket which made the install faster.

The unit performs as advertised. I'm an engineer so the instructions made total sense. This is a new install in progress with framed raised panel doors.Top and bottom frames aren't installed yet in the photos but everything still had to be square and level. Using measurements in the guide the gaps are even and the unit rotates freely. Properly tightened the grub screws secure the shelfs for height and alignment. I made my doors attached together before installing so there really isn't any slip or play, weight on the shelves will not be a concern.

Perfect, very easy to install if you had seen and used one before. Center the base first and then fix the top, done. The plan is too complicated.

This unit works great but is not white came in light brown.

I replaced my 30 year old unit which was literally duct tapped together. Did not know if this would fit as it's a different manufacturer than my original. 3 hours later (I'm not super handy), voila, the thing works perfect, only changed one bracket. Should have done this years ago.
