The cable supplied is of a decent length and for a cheap volt display to give easy monitoring of battery condition its very accurate only reading 0.1V above the actual voltage when measured against calibrated professional equipment. Very happy.

Unlike some, this one is bright and easy to see. Pleased I bought it.

Tended to read 0.1V high so added a 100 Ohm resistor in series with +ve lead. makes no difference to function but drops the voltage by 0.1V to correct the reading. Might need to select your own resistor value spending on the unit you have.

flashes when it drops below 12 vaults that’s Not in the description ! But that’s not a big problem for me !

I wired this gizmo up to tell me what my 12v battery is doing whilst running my lights in my shed with a caravan charger attached too. Recommend it to everyone to use as so easy to use and wire up

I have put this close to my motorhome engine battery (which is under the driver's seat on a Transit) so I can quickly see the starter battery voltage as soon as I open the driver's door. I can easily check if it needs recharging if I haven't used the vehicle for a long time.

The display doesn't show the immediate voltage of the battery after a change in condition. When the bike is cranked the voltage momentarily falls to say 10.8 volts, just for a millisecond, and then returns to mid to high 13+. But the display still shows the lowest voltage it measured during cranking, this continues for several minutes. Likewise when the bike is charging the battery, the increased terminal voltage is not instantaneous, still showing 13+ when actually the terminal voltage is 14.2+ So not so great at letting you know exactly what the battery/charging circuit is achieving, right now. Okay if your just wanting to know the voltage/state of a battery not used to start an engine or under charge, but not good for instant feedback of your battery condition.

Nice small unit, easy to fit. Can't comment on accuracy as have not compared it with a known standard.

Got this to monitor voltage on an aux battery in my truck. Wired in easy and is bright and works well. I don’t believe it draws much power to perform its function although I have not measured it. It’s instant on when it gets power and is quite accurate enough. It was bigger than I expected so make sure to check the specs for your application. It comes with insulated wire with decent length although I cut it down for my purpose

Motorcycle almost completely left me when the stator went up and wasn't charging the battery. I had a brand new battery and it ran only on it for about 15 minutes and I barely made it home, destroying the new lithium battery, what a scary feeling. I looked and found this beautiful meter and with my bike being "purple" the blue fits beautifully. I was able to mount it between the handlebars which allows me to look down at a split seconds notice to make sure all is well with the charging system. I was a little nervous when out at times and would see the volts drop to 13.7 or 8 and it came to me that, that's when the radiator fan would come on. I was able to verify that tonight, pulling over to see and sure enough, it was purring right along and when it would drop the temperature of the coolant, of course the fan would stop and I'd be back to 14. 2, 3 , 4 or 5 depending on if I was downshifting or on any other variables. I couldn't recommend this thing enough. The wiring for it is tiny but with care I was able to wire it into the system and it works great. If I ever want to see where the batter is at while even on trickle charge, I just turn the key and the display rolls right up and I've got peace of mind. A winner all around. If you need to see what your system is doing, this thing is sweet and may just fit your bill, it sure did mine!

I have attached these to every one of my maintenance and deep cycle chargers.

This is the third time I've ordered this item to use on motorcycles. They work great.
