first one I bought and unless you look closely you'd think its a real knife, very heavy so if you do a lot of tricks it can start to hurt your hand, but honestly for the price it really does a great job for what it is

I got this because I like to collect balisongs and I like ones like this that have a blade that is 'near' real (would not take much effort to sharpen into a real "live" blade). it is very heavy and a LITTLE shorter than a "standard" balisong and so I would not say it is a good choice for beginners. For example, it does not do Chaplins well (too rough and hurts your finger).Handle pivots were VERY stiff out-of-the-box and so I had to apply some lube and work the handles back and forth for a while but then it loosened up enough to try flipping. Once it loosened up I could do basic tricks like roll-overs.

It’s decently balanced don’t feel cheap I sharpened it with a hand sharpener I saw someone say it was to thick it’s a lie it was pretty easy I was just a little aggressive and scratched the blade but other than that it’s sharp and it trick’s pretty good

It looks like it would be sharp but it is flat on the edges and barely has any piercing power.As well and there is no latch to keep it closed

This knife is not as thick as it shows in the picture and Im talking about the blade and it came dulled. Like a practice butterfly knife which is not what I wanted. So very disappointing. It is heavy and a good PRACTICE knife

I'm real happy with this trainer. Makes the perfect gift and I think it flows great. Hinges are smooth with almost no side to side play and the whole assembly is very sturdy.

This knife is very heavy, unbalanced and terrible for practice flipping. It does look cool though.

I’ve always get one especially to practice
