Klarstein Sunday Morning – Toaster

Great looking toaster and toasts the bread evenly. Slots are large enough to take thick slices of bread and the whole slice fits into the slot - there are no parts of the bread sticking out that you need to turn upside down and toast again!! I was particularly looking for a good toaster with a warming rack and I found it. I’m very happy with this toaster. I think Klarstein are a good brand, I have their fan and it’s fantastic!

Lovely toaster, easy controls and evenly toasts bread. Love the over-rack for the occasional crumpet or hot cross bun! Surprisingly it sits happily on top of the toaster when it's not being used...no grovelling in the drawers for the extra piece. Looks good too. Worth the extra cost ..it isn't cheap!

This is a sturdy toaster which does the job and the warming rack is a handy extra. The only thing to watch, and it isn't significant enough to reduce the five star rating, is that the rotary browning control turns very freely, so accidentally brushing against it can easily alter the setting.

This looks nice, does a great job (I didn't realise how bad my last toaster was), and I love that the dial is on the front for easy viewing. Cancel button is nice too.

Works well for me

This two-slice toaster looks very smart with its sleek matt black finish and brushed metal accents. It's very lightweight but sits squarely on small, rubbery feet. The slots are 1 ½ inches wide (4 cm) so fairly thick slices can be toasted without jamming. Operation is the usual manual push-down motion, with spring-loaded ejection when the slices have reached the required toasting. A sliding tray allows easy disposal of loose crumbs.This is a very powerful toaster. With a range of 1 to 7, I normally set it for 3, or 4 at the most, if I want really brown edges. Of course, it depends on how dry the bread is and how thick the slice. Just above the heat dial, there are three buttons: Reheat (if your toast has gone cold); Defrost (for waffles or frozen muffins); and Cancel (to stop the toasting immediately if you see smoke rising, or for whatever reason). The Defrost cycle is longer than normal because it first defrosts, then toasts, all in one step. A removable little rack can be positioned above the slots to gently heat a pastry or anything else that would melt inside the toaster. A couple of minutes is all it takes, then hit Cancel, turn the pastry and repeat for the other side.The instructions (in English and German) are clear and easy to understand. If you decide to skip reading the manual (how complicated can a toaster be?), remember to run it empty for a few minutes, when new, to let any manufacturing dust burn off. For my evaluation and review, I chose the black model, but it's available in white as well, also matching the other appliances in the set. So, if you are in the market for a fast, reliable and beautiful two-slice toaster, this might be a very good choice.A free sample was provided for evaluation and review purposes.

Nachdem ich den Toaster unter freiem Himmel mehrfach bei höchster Stufe betätigt habe (wird in der Bedienungsanleitung empfohlen), war bei Gebrauch im Haus kein Geruch mehr vorhanden. Die danach getoasten Brotscheiben sind einwandfrei. Dazu sieht der Toaster (den ich meiner Tochter für die erste Wohnung geschenkt habe) auch noch stylisch aus.Auch die Verpackung und die Bestellabwicklung war tadellos. Daher sehr empfehlenswert.

Elegantes Design in Verbindung mit der Funktion zu toasten, ist das was ich erwartet habe. Zwar roch der Toaster anfangs etwas komisch, aber das war schon angekündigt wurden. Er erfüllt also seinen Zweck!

Der Toaster ist in Ordnung. Leider bekam ich per Mail eine Zahlungsfordrung für geleistete Aufwendungen, da der Betrag von meiner Visa-Card angeblich nicht abgebucht werden konnte. Das stimmt nicht!!! Die Abbuchung ist ordnungsgemäß erfolgt. Ich hab es schwarz auf weiss! Mir wird hier gleich mit dem Staatsanwalt gedroht. Ich bitte darauf zu achten, dass solche Schreiben unterbleiben, sonst kann ich künftig leider nicht mehr bei Amazon einkaufen. Danke. Sigrun Süß

Habe mich dafür entschieden, da es zu den restlichen Küchen-Tools passt (schwarz mit aluminium), muss aber leider sagen, dass dieser Toaster sehr "klumpert" ist. D.h. man hat bereits beim Runterdrücken der Toast-Taste das Gefühl, dass diese jede Sekunde abbrechen könnte.

Bin begeistert von dem Design so wie auch von der Handhabung. Einfach verständliche Bedienung für Toastbrot so wie auch fürs Brötchen aufbacken. Das Frühstück ist wieder vollkommen!Mit freundlichem GrußM. Friedrich
