Stanley 484488 Fatmax Plier Set (3 Pieces)

I wouldn't rely on the set if you after after large pliers/cutters or had big hands but are good for odd jobs and very strong. I have used them for crafts and odd DIY jobs and have been great to have available. The nice thing about getting the set is the trio are a good selection of pliers/cutters that cover most applications so if you don't want tons of specialist pliers but you want a good selection to do most jobs then I recommend these.

I find it hard to fault the Stanley Fatmax range. These are a prime example why. Simple, strong, comfortable and the wire cutters are razor sharp. Even after squeezing them as hard as I can, It doesn't hurt my hand.A must have for every toolbox.

These are great tools, I was (positively )surprised by its strength.With that said - 6 inch is a bit to small for most of the household usages - I would prefer 8 inch.

Good little set to have in addition to your higher end ones depending on the task. There great for smaller jobs or in tight spaces as light. Probably wouldn’t stand up to to much strain but a great addition to any tradesman tool kit. Perfect for DIY and hobbyists too.

Very sturdy and durable. Teeth on pliers don’t wear off easily. Good grip. Decent size for the odd jobs around the house.

Great set of pliers but found the needle nose was a bit delicate, in light work they were great but as soon as you needed to get a good strong grip in a narrow space they gave way. The pliers you expect will last, but following needle failure I dont hold out much hope of a lasting sharpness on the cutters

I haven't used these a great deal yet but they have been just what I wanted so far. Good quality and a comfortable grip.
