Offerings: A Novel

What a super read! The main character (Dae Joon Lee) has a unique perspective of both Korea and the US. Touching window into his relationship with family and friends. The fast pace of high finance mixed with Korean (and family) philosophy. Also interesting to have Korean history weaved into the story - Park Chung Hee and the Gwangju massacre. Loved the ending with the protestors and the ultimate collapse of Ilsung. Didn't want it to end...
