I bought these tiles despite reading negative reviews because I wanted something to reduce reverberation in my small voice over video studio. I found them to be exactly what I expected: they reduce reverberation in the voice frequencies to give a dead area around them. I bought white ones but they seem to be available in many different colours. I affixed them with some large (2 cm square) sticky pads which worked really well. The unscientific method of simply listening has proved that they work. I’ve photographed the graph on the packaging to show the actual numbers. As you can see, almost all sound in the ‘voice frequencies’ is absorbed with only a negligible amount reflected back again.I want to add a comment about people wanting these fir sound proofing: to deaden sound coming from outside, which these will not really help with. For that you need a thick, dense, solid layer. These are quite thin and relatively soft. Therefore they are great at reducing reverberation and echo INSIDE a room but completely ineffective at reducing sound being transmitted through the walls, ceiling and floors.

I initially thought this was a good product for what I needed. They have a shallow depth which is a real bonus. However, after fixing them to the wall using 3M sticky pads in the specified five point arrangement, they just regularly fall off the wall. I then used the stronger form of the 3M sticky pads and so far they have remained in place.

Ok, I think the Seller overcharges on the colour ones, while light grey has a fair price.I actually tested these in one instance and I can say that they do reduce noise by between 10 and 12 Db.Apart from that, they actually look good too so, a winner.One start for Warmth because this has nothing to do with temperature but with sound and, if they do have a thermic function, then my apologies but I did not test for that.

These are really great. We bought the Amazon suggested double sided sticky pads for these. They were less great. Invest in good double sided sticky tape!!! I think I definitely want to buy more of these for my partners gaming room!!!

This is a set of sound-proofing panels. I received the black ones which are more of a dark grey/slate colour. They do look quite nice and are probably the best colour to choose if you want something simple and discreet. They are reasonably thick but can be easily cut with a craft knife if necessary. You do need to supply your own adhesive to attach these to the wall and I would suggest some heavy-duty double-sided tape designed for walls. I can't really say much about the effectiveness of these because the pack provided does not cover much space so it wasn't really possible to soundproof any space in my home to test them. I was hoping they would block some of the noise from my neighbour in my tiny home office but these still only covered a fraction of the connecting wall. Buying enough packs to cover a wall would be so expensive that I can't help feeling that there might be a cheaper option involving larger panels that would also be less fiddly to install.

They are very easy to apply with 3M sticky pads, also you can cut the tiles to fit around awkward corners as long as you have a sharp blade

Great item, not self adhesive, so you need to purchase sticky pads. Mine fell off the wall using 4 x 3M sticky pads (one in each corner) so you'll probably need 6 or more. I bought 6 tiles for a music room thats about 6'6" x 8'. Seems ok for online streaming issues.
