Easy installation

I had read several articles on line about the EMP Shield and decided to get one. Easy installation, about 5 minutes. The only problem was when I disconnected the negative terminal every single item on my electronic dashboard went out as well as the complete dash info system. After about 3 hours most of the systems came back on by themselves but others had to be reflashed at the dealer. Then I had to reset all the presets manually. But,if this actually does what it says it will do, then it was all worth it. No way to actually test it out short of a nuclear EMP bomb going off high up in the atmosphere.

This EMP Shield device is a must for anyone living in the USA. Easy to install. Green light came on INSTANTLY. Super low profile.

Just connect the BLACK wire to battery negative, RED wire to battery positive and GREEN wire to chassis ground. Verify the "GREEN" LED light on EMP Shield box is on and you're all done. I attached my box to the top of my fuse box via the sticky seal on its bottom. Took about 15 minutes to install using plastic ties. I could have cut the wires shorter for a more professional looking install, but I would've had to go buy more electrical terminal lugs and I was in a hurry...maybe I'll do it later, but I doubt it as this works just fine.

Good quality, already hooked it up and thinking on getting one for the house. It's suppose to take a shock i.e. from lightning to protect our equipment, so not a bad idea and hope it works of time comes.

Who the heck knows if these will actually work in an EMP attack or significant solar flare. However, I feel safer and protected. The green light is on, and they're hooked up fairly solidly, with zip ties around other cables and 3M industrial double-sided tape to a cleaned section of metal, under the hood. I check it periodically, and it's not coming loose or showing signs of wear. Hoping we don't have an EMP attack anytime soon, but if we do, and these things actually do what they say they will, then I should be in good shape.

The unit is solid & appears to be sealed. It’s an easy installation and I will admit I bought just “in case” on the chance that it could help protect any portion of my vehicle. I worked for the Government for a long time & have seen many EMP protection systems and this seems to be a simple surge protector, the systems on protected vehicles are significant and have a lot of components and shielding & conduit. I took a chance and hope this does something
