Worked well in Japan.
This SIM card worked very well for me in Japan. The SIM Card itself is a repackaged AIS SIM2FLY card, but it was super easy to pop in the SIM on landing at Narita and get started right away. I got incredibly fast LTE speeds while I was in Japan (see attached speed test), and my iPhone went between using DoCoMo and Softbank's networks depending on where I was.I did not use the card in other countries, so I cannot vouch for it outside of Japan; however, there were very helpful instructions included in the packet on checking the amount of data remaining (though I also found that my iPhone's Cellular tab reset the "Period" for the data use for the new SIM card, so I mostly used that after checking a few times that they were the same).

Great value SIM card for Japan trip
This worked great in Japan! The internet speed was decent and 4GB was plenty of bandwidth for the price. I was able to use the hotspot function on my unlocked Android phone using this card. You will get a couple welcome text messages in Thai after inserting the card (while in Japan) but that was about it. After using all the bandwidth on one card, I used a second card and they both worked great. If your internet usage is moderate, these cards are the way to go. Less hassle than having to pickup a hotspot at the airport and returning it. Just make sure your phone is compatible with the SIM card.

Spotty in China, Didn't Work in Japan
Easy to install and set up, just have to turn on roaming, no APN settings to worry about. Then turn the phone on and off. I got service on the freeway, at the Great Wall, the Temple of Heaven, and at the airport. The nice thing was that you don't have to set up a VPN to access social media sites. The problem was that it didn't work at my hotel or anywhere around the Forbidden City, where I spent most of my time. When I landed in Japan, I started getting messages about how I'd have to pay more to get on a network there and nothing I tried got the card to work, so I had to buy a new SIM card at the airport. That was disappointing as I only got two days of partial use in China and nothing in Japan, so overall I'd call it a waste of money.

Awesome for Data Only Simcard
This Data Sim is awesome!I'm using Samsung S7 and no setup is needed.2nd, I found that this card is still able to use ACROSS COUNTRIES as long as its still under the effective days.3rd, speed is good enough in the most case, I did speedtest in various locations, and show me around 10+MB per second.Lastly, 4G data limit is real, I had a lot of usage left and use them all for the youtube at the last effective day. However, if you're going to use it for calling a landline or making a real international call, forget about it; this is needed to be activated in a local store that you may never know where to go.

Worked perfectly
Worked perfectly. I inserted the SIM while on the plane, after landing turned off airplane mode and turned on cellular data roaming. Within a few minutes my phone automatically connected to the local network and I was able to access the internet. No fuss no muss, no need to edit APN settings. Speeds were fast. The seller says that tethering/hotspot would not work, but on my phone it did, so I used it to access the internet on my laptop. Your mileage may vary.

No good for Indonesia!
Just returned from Indonesia where I had intended to use this SIM card. I learned while there that the government passed a law in February 2018 that all cell phones/SIM cards must be officially registered for anti-terrorism reasons. AIS never mentioned this when I ordered in May. Plus, I had to activate the SIM card through AIS first, which seems to be based in Thailand. No luck! I tried going online to the AIS site, but most documentation seemed be in Thai. And anyway that wouldn't have helped with registering with the Indonesian government. The SIM card was thus completely useless, and I wasted my money. "Return by" date has also elapsed. Alas!

Don't waste your money
Bought for a trip to Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, & Denpasar in October 2018. Followed all the instructions. Phone is definitely unlocked (purchased in Asia & already used in 5 different countries). SIM said it was working. Worked 0%. Bought four to cover full trip. None worked. System messages all in Thai, NOT one of the top five spoken/read languages in the world. English & Chinese magically appeared only in the "Do you want to pay to extend your unused..." message. No customer service, as all purported numbers didn't work. Took all this time to calm down 'cause this almost ruined the trip. I wish there was a "No Stars" option...

Works somewhat
I used this sim card for a trip to India. The sim card came with easy to explain instructions and insertion. It does not work in the US or UK as listed, so you can't verify it before your trip. It is a sim card for a Thailand number (you can look it up on your phone). In Chennai India it took about 30 minutes to kick in. There it linked to the Vodofone network and was useless for calls but gave minimal data enough for GPS and UBER some of the time only. Not enough data for internet searches.I used it in Hyderabad India also. There it had great GPS and UBER performance on the Airtel network.I think its worth the 20$ to get some UBER function at the airport, but I definitely recommend getting a local SIM card in Chennai.
