Oslo All Purpose Stopwatch

You certainly get what you pay for. This product was nothing but frustration and I have just thrown it away. The stop/lap buttons simply do not consistently work correctly, resulting in confusing lapping when you are trying to stop and reset. Hard to explain, but the bottom line is that this product wholly fails in its simple purpose.

The Oslo All Purpose Stopwatch is an excellent purchase if you want to see the amount of time something takes to happen. The stopwatch part is great - I have no problems with it. However, the complexity of trying to set a specific time for the stopwatch requires me to hunt for the directions every time I need to use that feature. There are only three buttons to do many different functions, meaning that you have to press buttons in a certain order for certain types of timers. I do agree with other reviewers who said the buttons are hard to press. If you want a precise time, you may end up not able to press a button when you need to. The right button turns on the standard stopwatch mode. In order to turn it off, you have to press the right button again. However, if you use the LEFT button to turn it off, you have to press the left button again to start it, then press the right to stop again, then press the left to clear it. Overall, I like this stopwatch because I'm able to time actions on the computer such as computer boot times, strategy game regeneration times, and refresh rates. I would NOT get this if I were timing something such as a race.

I don't have any problems with this stopwatch. It's easy to use, so there aren't any crazy functions on it. If you are training for olympic trials or something, you'll probably want to go with something else. For the rest of us, it's great.

I bought this stopwatch a while back. It has been functioning progressively worse over time with unresponsive buttons. I finally gave up on it when I used it for trying to time my wife's contractions during labor, resulting only in a stream of curses when I could not get the thing to stop in about half my attempts. Works intermittently for unimportant things but buy something better if you need it to count.

I ordered 10 stopwatches, the estimated delivery date was June 11th to June 19th. We needed the watches by the 24th of June at the latest. After emailing the company three times, someone finally responded to advise they were shipped on June 13th, which was after the expected delivery date!!! They finally arrived June 25th, which was a day late, so we were unable to use and comment on the actual product. If you want something from these guys quick, don't count on getting it quick.

Do NOT buy this stopwatch. I wish I had read the reviews on this 'toy' because this is what it is. It does NOT work. The buttons do NOT work as they are supposed to, except one in a dozen or so tries and that is intermittent too. I have now given it to my six year old grand daughter. PLEASE do not waste your money on this THING!! Colin Wilson

Multi-functional but took a while to learn the settings. Well worth the price.

I bought this for a track meet my daughter was in so was excited to get it in the mail. The packaging was good. The product not good. I could not get the thing to stop. There is no on/off button. Directions were useless.
