I am a music lover with great ears and a wonder but older sound system that pairs my record player and CD player with my Onkyo receiver wired to B&W speakers. This gadget saved me a ton of money as I thought I’d have to buy a new wireless receiver and speakers. I can play my music and podcasts through this and it is mind blowing. Easy Bluetooth connectivity and I can listen to music and audio saved on my smart phone. Works so well when I paired with this with my receiver that I gifted my brother one. He walked me through hooking up the connection. The range covers about 1500 ft. And reaches all but the farthest points in my apartment and I have solid walls not wallboard. In a words: Buy! So far it does not disappoint!

Quick TIPS: (Context: I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! - :-) I'm sorry if the title seems conceited. I'm just being real. Speed typing here; forgive typos please.) 1. DO NOT USE the horrible 3.5mm & RCA cord that they somehow decided to give us (??! - was that an "idiot savant" accident!? Hey, bless them anyway;-) !) (It is "the weakest link in this chain" - IT KILLS THE OTHERWISE BEAUTIFUL SOUND) Buy a Primeda Aux Cord (Currently under 20 bucks - watch for price increases) (Or equivalent cord - but PLEASE - I went through 4 companies to find Primeda. It is the lowest cost REAL option. Please, don't support fraud. Don't pay for fake "audiophile cords" . And, nope... they should pay me - but I don't get a dime here. I do promise you. 2. Apple users - set your phone to "either Lossless setting" - and Ignore the blue color. (OK?) It sounds ANAZING! ("Read between the lines" - but the "apple codex" programming - may have "patent restrictions". Right? So, perhaps ... "the less said the better".) 3. Do not pull the cord. (Low cost means that there may be trade offs. I have to return mine for a replacement - as it may have been previously returned. Somehow the device was damaged - where the power cord attaches to the base. (So, treat your cord with care. Place it low to the ground perhaps) 4. MOST IMPORTANTLY :-) NOW - CLOSE YOUR EYES - and WISH ME BLESSINGS, PEACE, WEALTH, AND GOOD KARMA etc. (Because this is a free tip friend. :-) I deserve the good vibes... at least. ;-) True? Don't destroy the quality that you have created - with low quality aux cords. Ask the engineers to test this! It is SO obvious! Thank you!)

I needed another BT receiver to transport my B&O BeoSound 2500 into the 21st century. I alreayd had my Ouverture connected to a DS600+ connector but wanted to save some money this time around. Well, while the sound is good and everything worked as expected, I noticed that the volume output of this receiver is far lower than that of the DS600+. I contacted 1Mii support and they confirmed that the different chips have different output levels. Unfortunately, that was a reason for me to return this item. I just ordered an auris bluMe HD which apparently has a line-level output. If you don't care about this, this little guy is definitely worth a try.

I have read many low reviews of this unit. Writers say it drops out as to volume of the sound, but I checked very carefully, and I discovered that the source of the sound is the culprit, and this unit works correctly. Listening to Youtube through an Apple TV, there are drop outs. The sound will dip based on errors in the content's recording of sound. It is best to place this unit right up the bluetooth source (Apple TV, for example), and it will work without fail in delivering signal to a vintage amplifier for theater quality sound in the home.

This is a nice Bluetooth adapter, works reliably. If anything, I would sugest dialing down the LED brightness - it might be too bright in darker rooms.

I wanted a way to play the music from my phone on my component stereo systems. This worked great. Now I can listen to quality sound. Very easy to connect. I purchased two for two component stereo systems on different floors and they worked without interference.

Because my 10 year old Sony receiver did not have built in Bluetooth, I was prepared to spend hundreds of dollars to purchase a new receiver with this feature. After a search on Amazon for a Bluetooth device, I found this $30 5.2 Bluetooth receiver. It works perfectly. It was very easy to set up and the quality of the sound is terrific. Just buy it. You too will be very happy with the purchase. And, I did not have to buy a new receiver!

The chip on the board is the CSR8811A12 chip which is BT 4.1. As a result, the device does not support any features of the claimed Bluetooth version (5.2)

Muy buen sonido. Conexión super-rápida gracias al BT 5.0. Yo lo he utilizado en mi coche, conectándolo a la salida auxiliar de mi equipo de audio y poder escuchar la música del móvil. Simplemente espectacular. Y si le das al botón 3D, ya lo flipas. Tiene batería interna que dura mucho, aunque yo lo llevo siempre conectado al coche, cuando éste duerme en la cochera durante más de 12 horas, este aparatito sigue con ganas de marcha. Y no te tienes que preocupar de conectarlo ni desconectarlo, pues cuando detecta la fuente de audio se conecta él solito. Muy recomendable su compra si quieres obtener un sonido inalámbrico de calidad, dando una segunda oportunidad a tus equipos de audio que no disponen de esta tecnología inalámbrica. El que venga con posibilidad de conexión a través de Jack de 3.5 y RCA es un acierto.

Simple yet effective Bluetooth receiver. Supports SBC-, AAC-, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD and LDAC codecs. Colour coded LED shows which codec is selected. Small modern looking box, audio quality in aptX HD is fine. Not supplied with a USB powersource.

Por el precio me parece un sonido muy bueno! Lo conecte a unas bocinas de estudio Bose y se escuchan muy bien.

I bought this as a gift, already owning a similar product. Found out that this newer version is considerably more compact whilst sporting an internal battery - enabling usage without the immediate need of a 5V power source. If my slightly older 1Mii BT5.0 receiver stops working, I will gladly upgrade to this version immediately.
