Good Quality, Good Price
I needed split reins for a horse show. I do not usually ride western and if I do, I use roping reins. However, for this show we were required to use split reins. First I needed reins fast. Weaver and Amazon delivered super fast. Next, I didn't want to spend a fortune. Weaver products are very budget friendly. I already had the Weaver Working Cowboy Headstall and was pleased with the feel and quality of it, so I felt safe going with the Working Cowboy reins. I was not disappointed. They are nothing fancy. Just good quality reins. Nice thickness and weight. And yes they do have a keeper.

Love these reins!!
I have had these reins for a little while now, and they are wonderful for training my young mare. The weight and thickness is perfect for small hands, and they are a great price. The leather is super supple and soft as well. Cant say enough good things about them!

First order never arrived, but the seller was very good at sending another set which arrived quickly. Good solid basic leather reins. Nice and smooth, long, with a leather tether to keep the reins together when you don't want them to be completely separate. Good solid ties at the attach points. Should last a long time while staying comfortable in the hands.

Loved these reins while riding in the USA. I would highly recommend them reasonably soft for first use. Look forward to using them again. Really pleased.

Super soft leather - feels great in the hands.
Great quality reins. Nicely weighted ends so they don't move too much while riding. Showed up already oiled and ready to use. Would absolutely buy these again.

Thick, square reins
I'm not a big fan of these. They are kind of thick and narrow, so they end up feeling a bit square in your hands. They are pretty stiff, and don't bend nicely inside the hand. I have small hands. I find them a bit awkward, and am often fiddling to get them to sit right. I have replaced then with a different rein.
