Philips Economy Compact Stick Light Bulb (B22 Bayonet Cap), 18 W - Fluorescent

Held off leaving this review to see how well this bulb worked. 2 years now and still lighting up the room. Gives off the perfect amount of light, not too bright, not too cold and not too yellow. When switching on fairly bright straight away and gets fully bright within a minute, not like the early days of energy saving bulbs that took 3 - 5 minutes. Perfect. Had Philips before and they do last 6 - 8 years plus depending on usage. Recommended for Philips quality and good price.

Very bright and it replaced one which went dark and it was very dark for two days. It came very quick.

The bulb is good but the reason I am giving 4 stars is because I am not sure if the bulb that was delivered is new. First the box was slightly damaged next there were some marks on the bulb itself aswell. Otherwise its good.

This unit is far brighter than the one it replaced ...this unit has 3 prongs giving off light whereas the previous one only had two....so far brighter...delivered in a secure package so NO DAMAGE...and very GOOD value for money ...overall EXCELLENT!!

I installed the bulb , it's an excellent fit, I can confirm that the item is well worth the money, I received the item from the post office on Saturday morning the seller provided great service many thanks for the speedy response and I will be ordering more soon , as regards to colour it's OK

The info for this 'long life' bulb stated it would last up to 6 years, I purchased this bulb in September 2022 and it's gone already, that's just 3 months use. Amazon returns policy states that consumables such as light bulbs are non returnable, but according to the Consumer Rights Act 2015, an item has to be: • Fit for Purpose: Long Life Light Bulb • As Described: Lasting up to 6 years • Satisfactory Quality; you would expect a reputable brand Philips product to be a quality item. Ideally, I would like a new bulb sent to me free of charge

I'm genuinely surprised by the way these bulbs last for so long that you'll forget the last time you purchased when the time comes for a replacement. They work very well for bedroom lights and I would say would last for years. I don't think you'll get a better energy saving light bulb for the money.
