Just what I needed.
Playing drums for years then beginning to learn piano has highlighted the fact that my left wrist is not as strong as my right. I already use a Powerball Gyro, but I needed something with portability. this device is great because I can use it in my jacket pocket while on the go!Apparently it is better to use one that is not too heavy as several lighter motions are better, I would agree with this, it is the same for leg muscles on a bicycle. My wrist strength is average and this 7lb version is just right for me. I would recommend this device without reservation and the same goes for the seller in this case, take a bow 'soundunlimited'.

Great product!
Bought to practice fingers to play piano, probably the light tension would be better for me, medium tension is a little bit harder than I’ve thought it would. I’m using it anyway it’s just harder to practice, for me. Works great

Well designed and made
A super device for strengthening and exercising fingers individually or collectively. Well designed and well made. There are several exercises and grips which benefit different parts of the hand and arm, which are well described on a 2 page sheet. This would have been a 5 star review if that information had been included with the product, instead of having to be downloaded off the web.

Excellent for sports recovery
Following a injury to my arm i needed something i could use to add strength/flexibility whilst at work, watching tv or sat on the train. This ticked all the boxes and you can vary it up with single flexes or full.My physio actually recommended this to me so it comes with that added reassurance!

Pro Hands Medium Tension Hand and Finger Exerciser
The item corresponds fully to its name,Hand and Finger Exerciser! As a musician (Bouzouki player), even after using it for only 20 days, I can observe easier and faster movement of the fingers.I am going to buy one for a friend, it's GREAT!

Review for the pianist who wants to improve finger strength
First, the pros1) The pro versions are well built2) You can use them for both crude total grip development, or to target specific fingersCons (this is aimed to be constructive critique from a pianist pov).1) When working on the fingers, the thumb grip is also on springs, so that your palm (bit of the hand your thumb connects to) depresses unequally across from the finger you're flexing. Thus actually reduces the amount of work that the finger is doing. However, it does presumably have more impact on stabiliser muscles. I would say, it would be even better if I had a switch that could lock the thumb side springs.2) It is not really possible to operate the thumb flexion close enough in biomechanics to how you flex the thumb on the piano. I'd say, it's more useful for the fingers.3) The only way I can more accurately simulate a piano is to lock two of these in a vice, so that I can press the 'keys' with relevant technique similar to the piano technique. It would be great if a version was produced for this purpose with an extra key on each hand for the thumb. The vice unit should be sold separate, so the devices can be changed out for one with greater or lesser resistance.I brought the medium one first, which was a good idea, as it was just a tad too much resistance - - - something to aim for. I brought two light versions which are at my level and will enable me to develop stamina through doing more reps. So I ended up buying light, medium and heavy, which should be enough for me for quite a while.I think that these are close to being really useful for a pianist. I've also purchased a rival device which allows flexion through a much greater range of motion, just because I feel that too much training at this limited range could lead to injury.Point 3 in the cons list above is why the device is ranked 3, not 4 or 5.In order to reach 5 stars, I would want points 1 and 2 of the cons list fixed as well. I will see if I can make my own jig for holding these to better mimic piano technique in practice of this exercise.

Excellent for guitar players
Excellent for guitar players, sax players and the like, I have recommened it to my friends, starting to rust up and get stiff now (after about two years) but it has traveled about busking with me and I live by the coast, I would buy the one with less tension next time as I am looking for dexterity rather than strength.

Regain strength in my hand...
...after a stroke. Useful but quite hard for me personally as my right hand I'd weak after my stroke.

Excellent produit
