How to Archer: The Ultimate Guide to Espionage and Style and Women and Also Cocktails Ever Written

Short but hilarious book, for anyone who loves the show and it's sense of humour as well as Archer persona in particular (obviously reading the book with Archer's voice is mandatory, otherwise you may be stepping into .... Danger zone!)Archer shares his wisdom on various topics, while being 100% himself - womanazing, self centred alcoholic we all love. Except the humour you will get some good recipes for cocktails and food (even the famous Egg Woodhouse recipe, I kid you not, it is there!), good advice on how to dress appropriately and with style, where to get your shoes and most importantly, how to approach women, usefully divided into 2 separate groups, professionals and amateurs...I've finished that book within 2 days, laughed a lot and had a good time definitely! Only downfall - raises your addiction to the show and makes you even more impatient for the next episode...

Whilst I've rated it 5 Stars, I probably wouldn't recommend this to anyone that wasn't a fan of the show. That being said, a friend started reading it and actually got into the show afterwards as a result!Very funny, and well-written, usually find myself pulling this book out during long journeys on trains and other such commutes

Bought this initially as a secret Santa gift (knowing the whole group were fans of the show). My partner skimmed through it and really didn't want to give it away....so I have just surprised him with his own copy.Why is she telling us all this s***, I hear you cry. Well I'm just trying to say that it's that good....it's worth buying. It's entertaining, funny and gives great insight into the world of espionage!It's written exactly how Archer would speak on the show, he truly comes to life on every page. So turn off the glowing talking box (TV) and give your brain a workout by reading all about the worlds best spy! You may pick up some tips....probably not though.

If you are a big Archer fan then this book will be a great buy for you. The writing is fantantsic I find myself just easily reading it in the Archer voice which makes it all the better.The book is Archers take on how to be a Spy, how you will never be as good as him but this is how you can get as close as possible! The book has a wide range of drink recipes and also gives you a few tid bits you cant get from the show but that make perfect sense such as Archer hope for American to be enslaved by only one specific country.If you have not watched much Archer or didn't really like it, then I wouldn't but it or at least try the sampler first. Its something you can return to again and again and find a joke from re reads which I like.

i ended up buying this on kindle because the paperback copy that was doing the rounds amongst my friends never seemed to get to me, and they all said how they loved it.this book is a proper laugh, doing what the TV show did and picking fun at all of the spy programmes that are out these days. it has sections on how to spy, how to drink, how to style, how to dine, how to woman and how to pay for it.read it all and you're ready to be the next james bond. promise ;)

Very impressed with this book, I think it is a good read for Archer fans & a great coffee table book. I love Archer & even though I've only read a handful of pages throughout the book as it is a birthday gift for a friend, you can really hear Sterling's voice when you read it.Definitely going to be buying this for myself.

When buying this I didn't expect a masterpiece, just something that was an easy read and more importantly, funny. I'm a big fan of Archer the TV show and I'm up to date with the series and this book should only be read by fans of the show. You won't gain new fans if you start with this.It started off pretty decent and there were a few lines where you could picture Archer saying those words. But quite a lot of it didn't really have that authentic feel that it was coming from a writer of the show. I'd say about a third of the pages in the book had nothing or next to nothing on them and one of the 'longest' chapters was on cocktail recipes where there was very little original writing and, well, cocktail recipes! 'Archer' does keep mentioning in the book that he just wants his word count to be over with and unfortunately the author felt the same. Towards the end I felt it dragging and despite the odd funny line I just wanted it to be over which is a shame because the TV show is hilarious, but this book doesn't do it justice I'm afraid.

Read from cover to cover in a couple of days, I just couldn't put it down. It is hilarious!!!It is pretty light on the reading but there are some good cocktails and plenty of jokes. If you're as big an archer fan as me, then you will love this(If you like James Bond, you probably won't want to read this- Archer doesn't speak highy of him)

Reading this book was just like watching an episode of Archer. However, unlike any other episode, this one will be playing in your head filling it with Archer's voice. It's also really funny.
