End piece started leaking and ruptured shortly after install
Installed and it worked perfectly, but a couple of hours later, a leak started on the right-side connector and then it burst. The whole plastic end piece broke off from the water pressure alone. You get what you pay for, skip this cheap replacement part and buy a quality product.

easy replacement
It didn't fix my hot tub problem, but the quality of the product was good. I found it would have been easier to not replace the entire part, but just the top part that plugs into the main panel.

We puchased one of these a year ago from Amazon and it worked well. It did die almost one year to the date though. So this time around we purchased two. While the flow switch works, it seems like it dies fast too.

Part failed, vendor didn't respond to email request for help
Purchased 3/1/24. Installed in a Jacuzzi on 5/20/24. Part failed 5/24/24. I replaced the failed part with another flow switch, and it has been working fine.Just to eliminate user installation as the fault, I am a licensed, certified hot tub repairman. I have installed over a hundred of these flow switches over the past 10 years.Nobody is perfect, and I realize that occasional bad parts get sold, which isn't the seller's fault. However, when I reached out to the seller on Amazon, hoping for a replacement, there wasn't even the courtesy of a response. I would not recommend this seller, Sunluway. For a $25 item, I'm not going to waste any more time seeking a refund or replacement. There are plenty of other vendors selling this part, I'll just avoid Sunluway.

Switch worked perfectly. Housing cracked and leaked after 6 months of installation.
After installing this switch, the switch function worked flawlessly. The switch has been installed for approximately 6 months in an interior setting so exterior weather impacts are not part of this failure. Once identified and removed it is apparent the housing is poorly made at the neck for the discharge barb. Cracked at the 90 degree shoulder for the discharge barb. Will spend the extra money on better sourced replacements going forward. When removing the flow switch the small and discharge barb both cleanly separated from the main body. It appears they are surface mounted to the body with adhesive. This piece should be a single injection molded item to prevent cracks and leaks during operation. Stay away from this product.

Didn't work
Installed this flow switch, immediately got an FL-2 and the hot tub wouldn't boot. Tried many things to fix, tried to screw/unscrew the switch part into the plastic T housing a few times since I figured it might be seated weird, unplugged/plugged into the circuit board several times, checked that the wires were firmly attached into the plastic connector, nothing made it work. Replaced it with an official OEM switch from Sundance and everything worked with no fuss. My guess is these are pretty inconsistently made, and if other reviews are any indication, I'm not alone in getting a faulty one. My advice is to not bother with cheap replacements and just spend a few extra dollars getting the OEM part.
