Radio Remote Control Model Tiger 1 RC Tank Pro Version with Metal Tracks & Gearboxes

I think that this tank is a comlpetely different proposition depending on what you want it for:If you want a "play out of the box" toy and you aren't really very technically minded, you are going to be seriously disappointed! The build quality is appalling, and you will be lucky if it lasts a day. Within 20 mins of first use, mine had thrown a wheel & track and the main gun no longer elevated (with an associated piece of broken plastic rattling around inside). The instructions are hilariously badly translated & are not a lot of use.However, if you like to take things to pieces and tinker around, this is a gift from heaven! The tank is really easy to take to bits and there seem to be loads of upgrade parts available with entire forums dedicated to modifying, painting & improving these tanks.Luckily, I fall into the second category and so I've already managed to fix mine and can't wait for something else to break so I can take it to pieces again. Shouldn't have to wait too long!*Update*Well, I didn't have to wait long - the gearbox siezed up, both rear wheels consistently fell off until the screw was superglued in & the turret rotation also failed! I'm so happy!!!

Have had a few HL tanks this one is the Pro version with 6s electronics massive improvement, sound effects are great, comes with new version smoke unit, Li-ion battery. And new style speaker, build quality is a lot better than earlier models. These also come ready for BB firing and infra red battle. Great tank. Also came a day early. Bonus.

Was looking forward to getting this tank with metal upgrades which was the pro version. Had a little problem with the remote control unit , when putting the 8 AA batteries in to unit had trouble getting them to connect but sorted that . The instructions manual could be better too but once you get through that the tank is great . Sound and smoke make it very realistic and with the metal gearbox and trax it can get over anything in its way .

brilliant,really like it,ive already bought some accessories for it,reckon ill be buying a few more rc tanks fairly soon..only thing id say is if your transmitter wont turn on then break off the plastic tabs that separate the aa batteries cos they can cause the battery terminals not to touch each other,its no big deal...

I purchase this with the metal tracks and gear box and the left front sprocket kept coming off after about 15 mins of running. A drop of Loktite Blue fixed this right up no problems since. Purchase a 3800 amp battery for longer use. The best thing is the tinkering and painting. I spent many research hours on the camouflage and insignias to make it authentic. Purchase many 1/16 Scale metal mods. overall I have used it quite a bit and have had no problems since the sprocket. Even the smoke generator works fine when turned on. I also have a M41E3 Bulldog and a Panzer. The fun is spending the time dressing up and making authentic.
