Fitted my phone well. Card slots get a a bit loose after a while and tended to leave a mark across my screen (though I had a screen protector over my screen so at least my actualscreen did not become damaged). Clear case goes a bit yellow after a while as well

Update 8 December 2018I wasn't too bother with the clip breaking but today the belt clip finally failed so I can no longer use it. This is a pity because the phone cover is great and I love it. I use the belt clip a lot so now unless I use a rubber band or similar to hold the phone in place I won't be able to use it.Belt clip holders breaking are not uncommon, it has happened to me before with an Otter Box for my Note 1, I contacted Otter Box and they sent me on replacement which I still use. The Note 1 is still working and is my backup phone.Update 27 January 2017Back to 3 stars due to belt clip breaking, the search for the 'perfect' case goes on :-((It's a great case, unfortunately the belt clip broke today, the piece at the top for levering open the catch broke off. I can still use it but I have to put my finger in to open and close it. As it happens I have it in my pocket most of the time and have only used it on a belt a few times so it's disappointing to see it break. I could understand if it was in daily use but it wasn't. Its a design flaw but I suppose plastic is always vulnerable to failure, a piece like this that has a lot of pressure could do with a metal insert but I guess that would push the price up.2nd Update Update 8 Oct 17Changed to 4 stars as I really do like it and it's on my phone always now. For me I've found the case I've searched for.After using for a long time now I found another problem. I was constantly accidentally turning the ringer off either while in my pocket or during handling the case. My solution was to put a dab of tippex on the switch so that I could see that it was aligned and therefore ringer was not muted. I've added a couple of photos. I had previously put a red line visible when ringer was muted but I found this hard to see at times.No problem with the audio when taking a phone call, I have no problems there.Original ReviewIt's a nice case, I had a bit of trouble fitting it. As I got near the fingerprint sensor it kept popping out at the top so it took a few attempts to get it sorted. I bought it thinking that the Duo Cameras on the rear of my iPhone 7 Plus were covered but they are not. I had seen videos/photos of the iPhone 6/6S model and they had a membrane protecting the camera lenses. I deducted 1 star for that reasonButtons are very stiff too, hopefully this will get better with use (Update: They don't after 6 months use they are still very stiff)Another thing I use a Lightning SD Card Reader which needs an extension lead to work because the body is too close to the lightning port, I got an extension lead which works great but sadly it's too big to work with the Griffen which is why I deducted a star. Update: I bought a lightning port extender so now I can use the Card ReaderAs mentioned above I gave it 3 stars due to above 2 points I wasn't happy with.Is it worth the extra money Supcase Unicorn Beetle I have been using at double the price? Well that remains to be seen, I may go back to the Unicorn Beetle which I was reasonably happy with. (Update: I haven't gone back to the Beetle)I think for me the search goes on, I was put off by the reviews for waterproof cases as they said the sound quality on phone calls weren't that good. After all it is a PHONE and for a phone to work the person you are calling has to be able to hear you.

This case is almost bulletproof! It's extremely well made. The fit and finish is beyond anything I've seen before. It comes with a removable belt clip section which can be placed over the screen for added protection if you're out walking, running, climbing or throwing yourself down a mountain. The belt clip is a 12 position 180° affair and it locks closed so it won't slip off while you're falling down that mountain, it also doubles as a stand so you can set it on a table/desk and watch movies or just have it as a digital photo frame while not in use.2 minor drawbacks. The case adds roughly another 10mm to the phones size so it is kind of bulky. Also the screen cover isn't as sensitive as the screen and sits off the screen so needs a bit more pressure to type and use the screen.I would definitely recommend this for protection and the drawbacks are worth the safety aspect.Good luck throwing yourself off that mountain. I'm sure your phone will survive even if you don't!

The iPhone 8 Plus Version is an improvement on the 6S Plus Version made possible by the phone’s removal of the 3.5mm headphone port which was a weakness from weatherproofing point of view. Less flaps to snap off and now no plastic over the camera lens to steam up when you put it in a sweaty pocket. Easy to use and solid. Thankfully, like the last one it doesn’t increase the size of an already big phone too much. Only negative for me would be the lack of a camera hole in the clip carrier which would enable taking photos without having to take the case out of the carrier

Got this for my wife's iPhone 8 plus as wanted to show off the gold colour of the phone whilst giving maximum protection. Were really pleased with it. Unlike other Griffin case which had clear plastic at the back that scratches this is gel all over which can handle knocks much better. Had it for about 2 months now and case is still looking like new. Our 2yr old son uses the phone for YouTube kids so the phone does get dropped alot but phone and case are still in perfect condition.

Bought for my iPhone SE 2020 which has the (virtually anyway) same dimensions as an iPhone 7. Brilliant case for me as I like to have a wallet style case to keep non-payment cards with my phone. Works well. I used to have a predecessor to this case on my old iphone7 and it worked very well to protect my phone.

I bought this case as it seemed to be the best case griffin make. I am very happy with its performance. I dropped a solid padlock on the screen and the only damage is a small chip in the screen protector. Very good quality.However, because of the Touch ID film and speaker coverage underneath the screen protector, it sits just slightly of the screen. It's hardly noticeable in the middle of the screen but I'd noticed at top or bottom of the screen. Also the case is completely sealed everywhere except the main camera and flash, Leaving them open to scratching and breaking
