Great product,although not used yet I think it will make painting the skirting board when you are not replacing the carpet

I've had similar products in the past that weren't very good. thought i would try these as the design looked good, must say as a painter they are very handy saves time masking up you just have to be a bit careful don't overload your brush when painting near them, most old school painters would be aghast but I'm an old school painter with new aged ideas :-)

A piece of Hard board does the same job and cheaper

Works like a dream, used it on my stairs which has already been painted professionally but then we put in new carpet which left a clear visible colour line from the stairways original paint scheme. With this simple tool I sorted out he problem in an hour

I found these transformational. Five rooms done with these, each with dark-stained skirting and involving primer, undercoat and two top coats - so they've been pretty well tested. There are times when despite following instructions about brush size and application method (basically load at top of skirting and use drier brush at carpet level) there's a faint line of paint between carpet and skirting, but it's not visible unless you know where to look.

Vastly over-priced for what are a couple of moulded pieces of plastic (one long, one short), but makes for an easy job of painting the skirting without having to remove the carpet.

Fantastic piece of equipment did the painting job in no time saved all the hassle from geting my carpet stained with paint. I would certainly recommend this product good value for its money.
