HOTRC DS-4A 2.4G 4 Channel Single Hand RC Radio Transmitter with 4CH Receiver for RC Car Boat Drone Airplane (W/ 2 RX)

Its actually a very good radio for the price. I use one on a traxxas slash and another on a tamiya tt02br buggy. the buggy is tracking near perfect straight. One click either way of trim and it pulls to either side. Also with cruise control can make alot of fun. give bit of throttle and press the big red button and have fun.

Driving experience: -Cruise control is really cool and intuitive (I will be using it 90% of the time with my crawler!) - Cruise control means you only need to steer. Makes filming one handed sooo easy! - Easy adjustment and tuning - Channel mixing is a huge bonus for me (tank steer) - overall well thought out!! Complaints: -Beep is annoying, would love to turn that off (I will probably surgically remove beeper)

This is a great idea if you make solo videos of your RC cars. Leaves a hand free for holding a camera on a pole and doing follow/chase videos. Takes a little getting used to, steering with your thumb and the throttle trigger seems a little touchy, could be a little smoother or have a little more throw, but overall very fun. The cruise control feature is also very cool. Good idea, good product.

I used this as the basis for a model airplane control line handle with throttle control. It works great!

This transmitter is great! It's exactly what I was looking for. I like to film my rc rock crawlers which is difficult with a traditional transmitter but this makes it so much easier! I was worried the joystick wouldn't provide very easy control over the steering but it works really well! It definitely feels cheap but I don't care about that personally because well, it is cheap haha. The only thing I really don't like is the beeping. The startup sounds and all the beeps on it is really annoying. But I didn't take any stars off for that because it doesnt change the functionality and the convince it gives me far outweighs the annoying beeps.

Have 3 of these, honestly I bought the third one hoping that it would work because when they did work I loved them. No such luck, all three are stuck is some mixing mode that I cannot get out of. Manual is horrible, you tube videos not much better, maybe I should learn Chinese? reached out on a Facebook thread, no response so far. Want to know if there is some factory reset? want to know if I can disable the cruise control? I love the function, but my motor controller does bad things when its engaged, If you get one that works out of the box, great. Otherwise STAY AWAY.

God I loved this controller the interface was cheezt but the whole one handed idea was killer I wish they would put a LCD display leather grip metal joystick I would pay 300$ for something like that quality come on step up your game for reals you have the right idea now make it a game changer please BTW I ran my associated rc8b4e with it and it was a match made in heaven. Won 15 races with the set up!

This radio was very inexpensive. It has some pretty cool features, like cruise control, and 4 channels. It's easy to use, but it does take some getting used to. I am using it now as a test unit for servos, speed controls, and motors. I may try it on a trail truck again soon.
