The Big Fat High School Algebra 1 Workbook

This math book is an excellent resource for my high schooler. The quality of the book is impressive, with sturdy pages and vibrant colors used throughout that make the content visually engaging. The colors help clearly organize the material, making it easier to follow along and understand complex math concepts. The explanations are straightforward and approachable, which has really helped build confidence in tackling challenging topics. Highly recommend for any student looking for a math book that’s both informative and user-friendly!

Easy to follow and it is comprehensive

This is an awesome book that literally reads like a textbook. It’s very explanatory and with all the colorful artwork throughout the book that gives it a fun atmosphere that will keep the students engaged. It’s easy to folly with helpful hints all throughout the book but my favorite part is the answer key at the back of the book. Not only does it give you the answers, but it walks you through step by step how it got the answer in the first place. I think that’s gonna be most helpful. I know some teachers who have struggling students so I’m going to show this book to them. Maybe it can help their students.

This is a great algebra book! The explanations are clear and the practice problems are on point. As a long time homeschool mom, I’ve seen several different curriculum, but this is by far one of the best supplemental resources I’ve seen. Highly recommend

Great as a reference. Probably best used in combination with other resources but overall, really useful. Also, it's written in cool fonts with simple wording.

This math book has been a great help in teaching Algebra 1. The book is well structured and organized, the subject is well explained, and the topic is easy to learn and understand. Our daughter actually asked if there were more high school subjects in this series; she likes it so much. I'm very glad we purchased this book. The price is compatible with other Algebra books and programs. I still recommend using a second Algebra book in tandem just to have all the bases covered. With this book, we approached Algebra with confidence, enjoying the easy step-by-step explanations.

As someone who hated mathematics in my schooldays, I am now 68 years of age and have started to enjoy mathematics as a hobby. I absolutely loved this book. Everything is so clearly explained and all the questions have fully-worked answers. It's a fun and colourful book. I would plead with the publishers to now create one that teaches calculus!
