These cameras are real high quality.
We set these up on a large construction project to monitor any suspicious homeless people rummaging through materials. It has picked up a lot of detail for us and helped mitigate theft issues.

Good overall 4K camera
This camera was easy to install with POE connection. Has decent zoom capability and range. The color night vision has limitations and has the same black and white capability as most other cameras At night. The camera adjustments are limited once mounted so it’s best to have the camera aimed exactly where you want it. This camera was bought as an add on to the Lorex system I bought at Costco. And is compatible

Would buy it again!!
We put this camera up in conjunction with 2 other Lorex cameras to monitor our church parking lot and so far it has exceeded our expectations. We wanted a camera that would capture a license plate as Simone did donuts in the parking lot. So far that has not been tested at speed.

Works as expected
Works as expected with Lorex NVR system. I got it to overlook a large field, so I purchased a separate nightvision IR led. The combo works great. No issues as of yet with anything, but I will keep this updated if it fails.

Lorex Technical Support is extremely poor
I purchased this camera to supplement the cameras that came with an NVR system (LNG6100 Series), as we needed two additional cameras to meet our coverage requirement. The system was installed in July 2018 and once up seemed to work correctly. In doing the install I needed to contact Lorex Technology for some technical support. I found the process very disappointing. Long wait times on the phone, and once I talked to a “technician” I found the information provided confusing. Since my back ground is in IT and having taken CCNA training, as well as designing, building and operating IT Labs, I think I know something about networking. So not happy with the support. After a couple of winter months one of the cameras failed and when I attempted to trouble shoot it found a couple of issues. The “All Weather” connector appear to have failed and I think caused the camera to short out. It is interesting that I only used their supplied Cat 5e 60’ cables on a couple of the cameras due to the lengths needed to reach the camera locations. I used standard Cat 6 cable for those longer runs and wrapped the connectors with Furnace Tape to weather proof them. The camera that failed was using one of their supplied Weather Proof connectors and the 60’ Cat 5e cable. While I have seen no problems with the Cat 6 cables.Recommend that while the cameras are very good, be warned about an technical support from Lorex and DO NOT expect the Weather Proof connectors to do the job.

Lorex is one of the better names, but I was very disappointed with this ...
I bought this cam as I was looking for an 8mp bullet style camera. Lorex is one of the better names, but I was very disappointed with this camera. Firstly, the top shield cover is made of plastic, instead of metal like the camera body itself. For those of you who own Amcrest camera will find the web admin software strikingly similar. However, one thing that is lacking and I find it very annoying is not having the 'TEST' option for the FTP settings. Needless, to say I couldn't get the camera to connect to the FTP server and not having the 'TEST' option, I wasn't able to 'see' where the issue is. Thirdly, I called Lorex support on this issue, but all he did was send me a basic configuration documentation and no troubleshooting was done to help determine why the camera is not making the connection. Build quality is good, but overall very disappointing on lack of troubleshooting tools, i.e. 'TEST' option for FTP, and tech support's inability to provide adequate/acceptable level of support. This camera doesn't have an SD card slot and it's recommended to be used with an NVR. I find not having an SD card as local storage is like not having a good insurance, in case there's a problem with the NVR or the network.
